Assassins aren’t the actual problem (pls read bfore downvoting)

okay, guys, I know I’m probably gonna get a lot of downvotes, but still. I have played assassins quite a few times, but I have been on the receiving end more than enough times. A lot of the blame is directed at the champion itself, but I personally think the real problems are:-

Domination/sorcery (too much dmg, not much diversity) Items summoner 14 being too strong, summoner 21 practically useless right now, summoner 3 not doing too much.

Domination – This is one completely unbalanced rune tree. I hardly ever see hail of blades (except on jhin, and a few others) and electrocute almost always beats predator. And god forbid someone pick dark harvest nowadays, they’d probably get reported for trolling (although it has some hidden power). Thus, I’d like to aim my changes at reducing dmg. Keystones – Electrocute – straight up nerfs. Double its cooldown(50-25s) and if it is still strong, nerf its proc ease. Predator – I always had a theory that Electrocute and predator should deal the same dmg, but since predator comes online later, it should give a bonus effect (movespeed). Thus, give it 40 to 70% movespeed (scaling with level) but decrease time to 10s (more strength, lesser window of strength). Also nerf its base dmg to equal that of electrocute (30-180). If it becomes too weak, then buff the cooldown to 100-50s. Dark harvest – it is fine atm, it is just getting crowded out by electrocute. Wait until all other runes are changed, and then buff/nerf its numbers accordingly. Hail of blades – very niche pick(jhin and maybe vayne), but very strong when it fulfills its niche. So, remove the ability to exceed AS limit. I was always strongly against this. There is a reason riot implemented an AS limit in the first place. What is the point of all that if you just added 2 runes (LT and HoB) which can exceed it?? Doesn’t that remove a unique element from the game( only Kog and jinx had that ability, and that was under very specific conditions). Also, increase the cooldown to 12s out of combat. Tier 3 – simple changes would be enough here. Change the dmg from cheap shot to be adaptive damage, and change the cooldown of sudden impact to 7/6/5/4/3 s(at lvls1/6/11/16/18) Tier 2 – simple changes would be enough here. Remove the extra dmg granted by zombie ward and replace it with true sight for a short duration. also make the user lose 2 stacks of EC per death (along the lines of dark seal/Mejai’s). if it becomes too weak, revert the losing of stacks change. Tier 1 – remove ravenous hunter from this tier( a sustain rune is unnecessary for assassins) and buff the base MS on relentless hunter from 8 to 10.

As far as items are concerned, item 3147 is THE major offender. It is a staple on nearly every AD assassin and then some, heavily restricting build diversity. Right now, there only 3 lethality items (item 3142 , item 3147 , item 3814 ), and item 3814 costs 200 more gold for less benefits. item 3147 , well, for the amount of benefits it gives, it might as well cost 5k gold. Like, srsly why does it require 2 passives? Keep one and discard the other. Is it that hard? Or am I missing something? Also, make item 3814 cost 200 gold less (that way, the cost is the same, but the stats and passives dictate the niche). For item 3142 increase the active movespeed to 25% but give it a shorter window (like 3s), and remove its CDR. also, please, PLEASE, create atleast 1 more lethality item that doesn’t give u extra dmg.

Also, nerf ignite dmg and give barrier a more well-defined niche (like CC immunity for as long as the shield persists, in return, maybe a slightly longer cooldown), and make exhaust's dmg reduction also affect ignite.

BTW, don't forget to give ur vote on which of item 3147 's 2 passives shd stay in the game (I vote blackout, the extra dmg is really not necessary in my opinion)

Edit:- I hope a rioter sees this, and even if he/she isn't able to implement these things, it'd be nice if he/she was up for a discussion.

the only two over performers are Zed and Talon, theres no reason to nerf assassin items when the issue isn't item related, its Talon and Zed related. Yes Rengar, or Nocturne can still potentially 1shot you, but if youre an isolated squishy target in a game with a Rengar or Nocturne running electrocute, you deserve to lose because you don't know what youre doing to begin with.

Why would you ever nerf domination more lul, that tree is weak af except for the keystones and Riot knows it. Theres like 5 out of the almost 50 meta champs that go Domination secondary because the other trees are just better. If anything, Duskblade should get nerfed.

item 3147 - Melee only.

item 3095 - Ranged only.
