Patch 6.17 was way too much - Could we please give him something back or something new? I know you think he was too strong but he felt just right prior to these brutal nerfs.

I think the nerfs were fine, even Tobias Fate wanted something like this to happen to GP. I mean, I still ban him, because he will always retain that late game power that he has always had since his rework.

Is that a problem though? Karthus argueably has a stronger lategame than Gangplank, but because his early game is pretty fucking bad, I dont hear anyone complaining.

Karthus is way easier to kill in the late game and GP has much better AoE, there is no way that you can argue Karthus is better than GP lategame. The only thing he has for him that does more than GP lategame is his ultimate. Also, people were complaining about GP because if you play him and get through lane phase, you are pretty on track to win the game because of how much pressure he has around the map with ult and how much damage he dishes out in a fight.

Lategame Gangplank deals a lot of damage. Lategame Karthus deals a litteral fuck ton of damage

Also, Karthus kinda ''wants'' to die

Gangplanks damage has inbuild counterplay, and is RNG reliant. Karthus' skittles may be easy to dodge, but his E is not. We've all seen Karthus players stare people to death with their E on :P

I have a friend that plays GP and I have a friend that plays Karthus. I've seen both in the late game, and I'm much more scared of a GP. I'm not sure if you've ever seen what a good GP does late game, but I can promise you it's a lot more than Karthus.

I watch Tobias Fate's stream. I was there when he had like 20 viewers. I have my own command in his chat.

I've seen what a good GP can do and I've seen what a good Karthus can do. Gangplanks damage is just burst, while Karthus' is sustained damage.

If you watch Tobias then you've probably heard him say, GP isn't just his barrels. He's building AD so his autos are going to hit hard too. Also, that's cool that you've watched him that long. I started watching him when he had 12-20 viewers and he was still a TF main. Sadly Senpai never noticed me cuz I'm never active in chats.

As far as Gp vs Karthus goes, When Gangplank comes in range to proc his passive/AA, he's putting himself in more danger than a Karthus flashing into 5 people :P
