This is actually kinda useless on Riven, considering her AD scalings. She already gets tanky from building AD, this will just waste her scalings

Plus because of her shield she benefits more from building minor resistances than she does from building health

the only thing that bothers me here is the amount of sheer utility rivens skills bring to the table

op might be right that riven might just throw her ad scalings away for a new hp scaling just to abuse the way her kit is packed with good stuff to become the insanely tanky fighter with top tier cc and mobility who still deals quite considerable damage (a build like titanic+bc+mom+randuins and something ... realy good tankyness with realy goodresistances here ... and decent ad on top of that)

this might become a viable off build that has diferent pros and conns

as far as it isnt in the game we can specualte ... but i think that this might have an impact on rivens ballance

Tiamat and Ravenous are better, because of the shorter cd on the active. This item could be ok on her, if you don't have any tanks or if she feeds in lane and have to go tanky, but she has still no good sustain compared to the lifesteal build. Riven with stacked BTs could survive on 10 hp and lifesteal to full with her shield. Good that they changed the item.

they didnt change the item. ravenous hydra still exists.

current hydra better... this wont affect riven imo. , that item is mostly for champs who arent going for lifesteal. riven gets more ad and more sustain with hydra.

Nope. Health sucks on Riven, because she got free effective health with her shield. She's better off with raw AD, cdr, arpen, lfesteal and resists

I mean, I guess a tank Riven build could work with this item... why though? It doesn't increase her scalings at all, so straight AD will still be better on her. This item will be far more suited to tanky as fuck champions who auto a lot in fights, like Volibear or Mundo.

As I already pointed out when I suggested a similar item passive, the added damage is on-hit and doesn't raise the AD scaling on abilities. Thus it's completely wasted on Riven. Way better buy item 3153 then full tank (maybe adding in a item 3071 ), if you want to go tanky (if even a tanky build makes sense on her).
