With complaints about Merc Treads being useless, just how many forms of CC are knockups?

I went through the list of champions, and I'll categorize them in a few ways. First off: champions with no CC built into their kit, champions with a non-knockup CC (and no knockups), and champions with at least one knockup in their kit. (I probably flubbed the counts here by one or two each, but it should be pretty close)

Note: Knock backs, flings, etc all count as being "airborne", even if relatively minor such as a Kled Bear-Trap-on-a-Rope pull. Basically, if a Yasuo can ult you from it, it counts.

No CC: 7 Non-knockup CC: 77 Knockup CC: 54

Therefore, Merc Treads (tenacity) are automatically less effective against roughly 40% of the League.

Next, how many abilities there are that are knockups, and how many that are not knockups, but still apply some form of CC. This does not take into account item CC, even if typically bought on a champion.

Knockup abilities: 74 Non-knockup CC abilities: 166

Thus, tenacity from Merc Treads are ineffective against 74 of the 240 crowd-control abilities in League (around 31.5%). Again, this counts any form of CC, from Garen's silence to Xayah's root. Abilities that are capable of applying CC in more than one way (such as Cassiopeia's ult) were only counted once.

Yeah knockups are the true damage of CC, there's no way to mitigate/cleanse it. While ninjas provide a steady benefit no matter the comp, mercs lose value depending on the enemy comp.
