Putting the "Ass" back in "Kassadin"

Like Assassin, what were you thinking of?

so just a thought is what if when kass scores a kill his stacks for his ult reset, just to help him get in and out. thoughts? : )

I was thinking you meant "badass" but assassin works too...

Reseting his ult stacks isn't actually a good thing for him, for a few reasons. Reason 1 is that his W already gives a MASSIVE mana refund when used on an enemy champion, and now that his ult costs so much less than it used to, he is guaranteed to always restore enough to use his R even at max stacks. Reason 2 is that his stacks don't just stack the cost, they also stack the damage, and a lot of Kassadin's R micro management game is keeping track of how much damage it deals, so having it randomly reset when you're trying to kill people with it (especially when you already return a lot of mana with W) seems counterproductive.

I would say the thing Kassadin needs right now is better damage scaling. Not base damage, but AP ratios (and possibly beef up the mana ratio on his R). His total burst combo at level 18 (even with a Lich bane and a Luden's echo boosting his burst) is only 1060 +275% AP +6% max mana, where a Leblanc's full combo deals 1435 +360% AP without even using the Lich bane or Luden's to beef it up like Kass has to. She is at least as mobile (extremely long range dash, can dash twice with her ult, short cooldown on both) and can burst faster than Kassadin (virtually no cast time vs very clear windups and having to auto attack). There is no reason Kass can't at least have his late game scaling buffed a bit (maybe give his ult an AP ratio again, like 20% AP, +10% per stack, max 60% AP) that way managing his mana usage in order to maintain his higher burst would be better related.

I would like for them to just give him his old ult back and improve his scaling. It wasn't like his ult back. It wasn't really OP, especially with his current damage.

I would like to see his ult's range and CD doubled, while getting a LOT of damage back on Q and E
