his passive + + 5 tank items = undying + 500+ ap which allows him to W-R one shot .

all you need to do is just play safe in early game and rush deathcap first item .

Yes, but only if your team, is so garbage that they free-farm and have 500 cs at 40m - just like Nasus, and nobody says he is OP.

^^^ can confirm, happened to me as lux once but he did back for a partial item so he did have some extra ap. But still happens. Veig can still get kills with just completing morello and still become a beast late game.

but those have drawbacks.

nasus has it only on his q and needs his passive and tank to say alive long enough to deal anything meaningful, so grevious shuts him down hard.

Cho'gath has it on his ultimate, so its not spammable like nasus and veigar.

I think what OP means is that veigar is already very difficult to get to when he is protected by tanks, and then if he happens to be a tank you're gonna have even more trouble shutting him down.

Veigar's counter is assassins but if he builds tank he can bot deal damage and be very close to unkillable

veigar isnt melee.

and nasus doesnt 1 shot. hes a carry who deals sustained damage.

That wouldn't work if they counter build him. MasterYi Doesn't even infinitely scale yet still able to melt veigar with infinite stacks.

Yi does 50 + 25% of AD at max level so as long as he is able to dodge Veigar's Q E and cleanse through W, he should be able to spell shield though the ult, thus having a few seconds to apply a thousand or two in true damage with rageblade before Veigar's spell comes off CD.
