What did you expect? We don't know when it will be, and it's entirely possible for it to be delayed. So to our knowledge, it's just going to be "when it's ready"

Sure, thats all we know. But! That was a sarcastic useless comment. You might as well not have commented. You should of said "We don't know". This post was to Riot, asking them if they know and if they can tell us. "When its done" is an obvious, and empty, comment. Try to think before you post.

Except that it wasn't sarcastic, as well as actually being useful. It lets you know to just except that things get there when they are ready. It's the reason Riot doesn't announce release dates (at least until very close to the actual release), as they never know when something will just get iceboxed (one of the problems they made with Ao Shin)

And if you don't want any person replying to your thread, then don't post it on a public forum. You only want a Rioter to reply to you? Then you go to their Twitter or Ask.FM (and I wasn't the one who downvoted you)

I didn't think I needed any effort into this. It was towards Riot. I didn't need you to say something that wasn't necesarry or helpful. It was useless. I knew that obviously. I wanted a "around X month" if someone could give it to me.

The patches don't count up like decimals. The first digit is the season, and the next ones are the patch number.

Like Avantel said, they're not decimals. In the software industry (and most of engineering) they use ordinals to delineate versions, and 6.9 is just followed by 6.10, as you don't typically know (or care) how many developments will go into a cycle. Riot uses the 6 in 6.9 to indicate season 6 of LoL, and will have that through 6.24 or so in December.

Think how Dewey Decimals work and you get the idea.
