5.2 Ahri Feedback
tl;dr: Combat mobility is fine, but Ahri does not need a 50%+ uptime out of combat speed boost that is only limited by mana.
- At 40% CDR, Orb of Deception's cooldown is 4.2 sec.
- In most cases, the speed buff will last at least 2 seconds.
- The higher your movement speed, the longer the travel time and the longer the buff lasts.
- It currently does not require any opponents in the vicinity to proc so it can be used to quickly roam around the map.
- It's an unnecessary buff to her laning phase.
- Combined with the Foxfire changes, the speed buff makes her W a much more reliable source of damage than before.
The in-combat mobility of Spirit Rush + Orb is amazingly fun to play with. Randomly throwing Orbs in the jungle for movement speed is silly.
Suggestions:
- Requiring Ahri to throw her Orb towards an enemy / having an enemy in the vicinity for the speed buff to proc.
- Making the speed buff only available post-6 by making it a secondary passive on Spirit Rush.
Either way, that's my theory behind her win rate spiking to 57%+.
