like seriously even his counters dont counter him any more you cant buld armor to fight him cause he just beats that down some how idk who counters him any more and if you have a carry they get chewed up by true damage

Unless you are the villain, this Garen **IS **nerf compare to how he was before.

true damage only applies to the villain.

otherwise garen has less mobility, no cc reduction on his w, a significantly shorter silence, and more damage on his spin IF he hits only 1 enemy unit with it.

if youre going to fight him head on, at least make sure you have minions around. youll take about 25% less damage.

necroing a 4 month old thread, really?

and you seem to miss the fact that his passive only really kicks off at lvl 16, only works out of combat, and that he doesnt have actual in combat sustain like most other champs.

no % missing health heal on abilities like darius or illaoi, no inbuilt lifesteal like olaf, no real option to build into sustain since lifesteal is pretty ineffective on him.

his base health regen is low to compensate for his passive in lane. so he doesnt even really get health back in a fight or outside of it from regenerating it.

not getting hit isnt super easy for him. it means staying far enough out of range to miss cs. and if you make him miss cs you got what you want.

im not even going into lane mechanics and how you can force him to push lane and overextend to trade.

I've been playing Garen since the patch...he's not nerfed at all!

Also garens regen makes any armor or magic resist super efficient, keep in mind garen does not have to damage creeps or life steal or spell vamp, he simply just needs to avoid being attacked which is supper easy with his speed buff and phage, basically if you go in on him you may as well commit because you willlose the battle of attrition, do this twice and the R button is going to take you out of lane, the match up is complete bull shit for any champ
