Basic categorization and descriptions from Riot.

Tanks excel in shrugging off incoming damage and focus on disrupting their enemies more than being significant damage threats themselves.

Juggernauts are damage-threats. While they may have some utility, they are primarily threats due to their durability and damage.

Tanks can have damage, but their primary threat is their CC and/or utility.

Fighters are durable and damage-focused melee champions that look to be in the thick of combat.

As can be seen, Juggernauts are a subclass of fighters.

Juggernauts are melee titans who relentlessly march down the opposition and devastate those foolish enough to get within their grasp. They are the only subclass who excel at both dealing and taking significant amounts of damage, but in turn they have a tough time closing in on targets due to their low range and extremely limited mobility.

Tanks: Maokai Sion Nautilus Sejuani Gragas Braum Leona Zac Poppy

Juggernauts: Darius Garen Illaoi Nasus DrMundo Volibear

having damage can be disruptive and most juggernauts seem to be able to tank more then tanks so while your looking at what ever type you have there i'm looking what the hell is happening on the rift so YES juggernauts are tanks thank you for being a riot following idiot have a nice fucking day

I heard Draven is the dankiest. Mostly because Draven is everything. But he has ungodly scaling with HP armour and MR. So at level 1 he can have up to 50k HP and 1k of MR and armour.

Tank-Support Ashe is actually super viable. Her ranged slows (get hurricane, then tank) and the ULT CC are awesome.

Tankiest champ in LoL is Sion , Malphite , or DrMundo . Mundo doesn't build damage; he builds straight health. Same with Sion and Malph but they tend to build more armor.

A Mordekaiser that built tanky is the tankiest champion in the game. His constantly replenishing shield, high health, and heavy resistances make him the tankiest.
