True but she has 3 Rs and regains one on kills or assists. Plus gunblade is a main part of her combo. Realistically she has the same amount of kill pressure as an equally fed fizz who misses E. On top of that Fizz has 2 skillshots he can miss that are most of his damage. 90% of Akali's damage is targeted.

They are actually very comparable assassins.

If it isn't targeted then yes, it is a skillshot.

Well if we want to break it into technicalities it is a 2 part cast of either

The first cast is a skillshot dash

The second part is a self targeted aoe skillshot or a dash skillshot into a self targeted aoe skillshot.

leblancs W isn't a skillshot either. theres literally a list of skillshots you can check on the link to league of legends wiki i sent you and realise that neither of the 2 is listed.

The league of legends wiki says "the term skillshot is often used to refer to projectile-based direction-targeted abilities." Going by this, Leblanc w as well as Fizz e should both be considered skillshots. Also, this wiki wasn't made by riot or anything so it doesn't really dictate what is or isn't a skillshot.

Her E is just as avoidable as Fizz if you know it is coming. They both take a flash/other mobility skill to actually avoid.

Fizz isn't even weak in lane though. Against most immobile mid laners he can force a flash level 2. The only way he gets abused really hard is if he doesn't play aggressive.

Yes, they have range, but if he jumps on them level 2 with his e and slows them, his dot w will outdamage most mids because he can apply it like four times.

They do from level 1-3, but level 3 is a pretty easy fight in almost all matchups imo.

are you actually serious? this is nowhere close to true.

i have never seen an illaoi 2 shot someone with w + q. ever. with 120 bonus ad, her q does what? 400 damage? and her w deals less than 10% max health.

Bacause he doesnt really offer anything else to a team other than mostly single target burst. No utility, almost no cc, no wave clear, no range,... Its not fun to play against if you dont have a counter but its not op either.

Fizz is my current champion which I am enjoying experimenting with. Now I'm not convinced that he is as bad as you think. Play up the AP and he can wave clear pretty well. I also have noticed that the interplay between AP, AD and cooldowns is a bit odd - esp after the last few patches. So I am suspecting that one needs to consider having a few cooldown runes when working with the lil fish.

Lastly, looking at his sub-50% winrate currently, I've been suspecting (and my experimenting seems to confirm this) that one of his problems is that he doesn't quite play like the other champions. A player coming in who mains one of the other assassin types (say Akali or Irelia) and tries to play Fizz like their fav champion would be in for a quite a bit of difficulty.
