Have you played both?

If yes, Pick the one you understand more

If No, Go play both and decide.

If you understand both equally, Do you play support or mid more,

Mid, GO ORI

Support, GO LISS(Liss support has a lot of cc she can bring, and her aoe ratios have been lowered making them less likely to steal the kills in bot lane)

Support orianna is actually surprisingly good. She can poke really well, and she can keep the ball on her ADC and w to escape if needed. Her ball can sometimes act as a ward and her ult can disengage or get the enemy carries out of position for your ADC to get kills.

I am not a huge fan of how Lissandra plays. I have played her a few times and just didn't like her kit. I understand she can be powerful, but she just isn't a champion I could click with. If that makes sense.

I quite like Oriana. I am an ADC main so having a mid that can last hit a bit easier is helpful (her passive give more power to her auto-attack). Her kit gives a lot of utility to the team; she can speed people up, protect them, do AoE damage, and her ult has really powerful damage and CC. I don't play her much, but I like her a lot. Even if you have a bad laning phase, because of all the utility she can still be very effective in a teamfight.

I would suggest playing them both and seeing what you like. However, if you want my biased opinion, I would choose Oriana over Lissandra in a heartbeat.
