LeBlanc Giving Me Problems.

This may be too vague to answer, considering every game is vastly different with many varying degrees of player knowledge and mechanics (ESPECIALLY bronze) but I've noticed a strong pattern in my games, where if I am laning against LeBlanc (Or any assassin really..) I can stay safe all I want, cast all the MIAs and danger pings in the world. But they always end up just obliterating all of my teammates. It doesn't matter how well I do vs. them though, they always seem to get a lot more kills than deaths, am I missing something here? I do fine against them, but it's when she either begins roaming or team fights happen that she just Ws up, QR's someone and they just die. I wouldn't mind so much, except that in Bronze she supposedly has a 47.5% win rate? Which I know doesn't mean much, but surely that means there's something I can do to at least make her life harder. Other than just not dying to her of course. It may sound like complaining, but I don't think I've won a ranked game against Leblanc so far, and I'd really like to know how to handle this. I wanna climb, and I wanna know how to get past this stepping stone.

Must cc her, she's extremely squishy, like ADC type of squishy and heavily struggles against tanks because she has poor DPS. She doesn't have much range btw so she must ambush or use her w as a gapcloser. Btw she has bad waveclear and must w + ult to do it quickly. She isn't gonna kill you without her ult so you're save for 30 secs. Push her to tower and then roam.

Deal lb the same way you deal with an assassin by limiting their ability to engage

Freeze the creep and stack them outside your tower and harass everytime she cses

Build an abysal or roa depending on how the lane is going

As long as you don't die to her she can't one shot

Best counter play is react as soon as she w and get off some spells

If she throws a q then walk back and wait for the spell to ware off so she doesn't proc it

Position yourself in the minion wave so she can't chain you xd

The problem is for once, not laning against her. I fend her off just fine, I'm quite aware LeBlanc can't really farm all that well and needs to get gold off champion kills, so I stay EXTREMELY safe in lane (Hug turret, stay well away from her Q W range). My issue is she just walks to bot lane, I ping danger danger, MIA MIA, danger, fall back" it gets ignored and she ends up killing one or both of them. Often I get blamed for not following, but if I do follow she'll instagib me the same way they instagib them. I try to cc her before she can kill my allies when near me, but she moves so fast it's hard to keep track of her sometimes when she uses her distortion. I've even opted taking exhaust for her to limit her kill/escape potential but that only gets me so far. In fact, the past few games with Leblanc involved she hasnt killed me once. Yet the last one went 9/1/7. Am I missing something? Is there anything I can do to just shut her down entirely outside of hope to land a stun on her in a team fight, praying she doesnt escape last second?

Either take TP, plant some wards in the river (if you're playing top side, then a ward in the little side-bush on the other side of the blue buff wall is ludicrously helpful and rarely cleared in bronze/silver), or both. I've played about 500 games in the "lower tier", and unless you keep track of your laner at all times then people can and will blame you for whatever they do even if it wasn't your fault.

Your problem is that you're letting her roam for free. I see you play a lot of Annie, but that lane (Annie vs LB) should not really shove one way or the other massively. If she is killing you when you follow her you need to ward the small brushes in the river, as you can see where she goes from there.

Try to harass her make her low hp that will limit her ability to roam

She can roam if she isn't pressured

Go for a negatron cloak/MR item. Assassins usually rely on the opponent having zero defenses against them to maximize their damage (hence why a lot of them fall off massively lategame). With an early defensive buy, you can often mitigate the majority of their damage and force them onto wasteful buys like an early void staff.

The problem is the way assassins were designed is that they have to get ahead with kills and oppress their lane by killing them again or going to other lanes to get team ahead. They feed off kills to get the win. Assassins have very few other tools to help win a game compared to every other champion and an assassin that falls behind or just breaks even lacks the damage to assassinate their target. Most also fall off late game because again, don't scale enough to kill the target. They don't have CC for fights, most have to get up close and personal and are squish. They can't poke/siege. They are average split pushers (because bruisers, their counters tend to be the ones that go and control them from split pushing) and some ranged mages can burst almost as hard as some assassins.

There is a reason that they have basically no appearance at worlds and it is because they are badly outclassed. Even when they would be going into favorable lane matchups to the likes of cass and syndra, they aren't picked. Assassin update will most likely bring them back up to speed.

To relate to the OP, basically, her getting kills is basically her way of being useful in the game. Now I agree that leblanc's specific gameplay unlike the other assassins is very unhealthy since you can't really counter the W blink from range which is instant, but that will be changing as she will have a delay to blink back.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. So through reading your suggestions, I found the main problem is that she was alive and well enough to gank lanes as I turtled behind turret. It seemed clear that the only viable option was to poke/duel her.

This seemed like a tall order considering my main (Annie) has about her range, but I figured it out after 1v1ing a friend who plays LeBlanc. I used MR quints/glyphs, flat HP seals and I even added on Veteran's Scars to add 50 health (Then got Insight for the summoner cooldowns) It may seem overkill, but her burst is unbelievable. I need all the defense I can get. Also, starting the trade with Annie's E gives you a huge advantage when it comes to out-poking her. She gets thunderlords proc, but so do you (and it isnt reduced by a shield!). After level 6 I use exhaust to engage, then E (Totals to about 1/2 damage taken) Q stun, R, W combo. If this doesnt kill her, it definitely makes her back and unable to farm/gank. It also helps to buy 5 biscuits first back to out-sustain her mana.

What does everyone think of this? Viable in a ranked match? I dislike replacing my quints with MR and my seals with flat HP, but +AP/Move speed weren't cutting it and scaling health took too long considering LB can burst you down level 2. I also don't fancy going from the ferocity tree to the resolve tree, so I'm wondering if it'd be better to just go feast + vampirism to get more health overall? But then it doesn't add to your max health which is a problem in itself.

What are your guys' thoughts on whether it's worth it to switch to resolve over ferocity for this matchup in particular?

Leblanc is a champion that if she doesn't get kills early in the game she will be set back waaaaay too far behind, typically, when im LB and in my laning phase my opponent is too scared to poke me, I will roam until I have at least 3/0 (notice that even dying means enemy team is fed the amount of your death, and that's not okay for leblanc as her late game will suffer) after that W>Q>R>E>W is an instant death if a mushy enemy is under 50% hp .. Might wanna engage tanks at a lower health rate somewhere with 30% + ignite if they are fed or building MR
