Tips on how to climb?

Hi, I'm currently in Silver 5 and was gold two seasons ago but didn't play much last season. It seems in my games now that one lane feeds and that person they feed carrys and ends up being unstoppable. That is unless we group hard and catch them being cocky. With that said I feel I play better than where I am ranked. I am looking for tips on how to use the advantage I get in lane to carry my way up. I try to help my jungler gank when I can but I usually can't too often or else my opposing laner will start to close my advantage on them. I usually play pantheon top and can typically dominate lane but I feel like I get less useful the later the game goes on. I've been trying to play jhin lately and try and carry with him but I have to rely on a decent team to peel for me even when we win our lane.

TLDR; I feel like i'm better than silver 5 but need tips on carrying the rest of the team.
