Get rid of the bullshit, 4 man surrender should be at 15 minutes

Idk why you insist trolls have power

Unanimous surrender should work at any point in the game because why shouldn't it?

No thanks. I agree it sucks that some trolls or people who clearly aren't trying have the power to deny a vote, but people give up too easily as is and I'd rather not perpetuate that mentality.

No. I can't even count how many 15 min surrenders I've stopped simply because I have a calmer head than most and can save late game comps from dropping both their and my games. I deserve those measly 5 minutes, and frankly, I've earned them.

This the guy you're all upvoting? lol. I didn't even know you could get the stat this low. You want a guy that not only throws in the towel at 15 in your game, but refuses to play after throwing it in because you refused to? Because that's who this guy represents. The fact that someone's not banned for inting with this stat is honestly mind boggling. I know some people low key int when they give up, but this is next level inting.

4 man surrenders @ 15? Nah.

But I would gladly welcome a 5 man surrender @ 12.

Imo, the troll is the one who wants to surrender rather than play out a game.

Which is more grievous? One person actually trying to win? Or the 4 people who will never amount to anything in game or in real life because they would rather give up and lose everything and move on to the next.

It's not like this is the lottery..... where you are throwing away hundreds of tickets in the hope of a payout on ticket #3,900 because the payout is worth more than all those tries.

A surrender is anywhere between 2 1/2 to four actual LOSSES that you have to make up every time you do it. (The current potential win, lost, the last game you won, lost, and the LP from the next game, which you may potentially also lose, going to recover ground. Also, weighted by your MMR, so sometimes a loss is worth more than even that)

And before you argue; I can make it up by moving on to the next game;

  1. You're tilted. Your next game probably isn't any better.
  2. Usually, if a game is decided, it won't last much longer anyways. Might as well try winning. If you can stall out, usually, if you play it right, there is a chance to win on the other end.
  3. Your next team may be even more worth surrendering to.
  4. Again, your next game is mathematically negated by THIS game. By just winning it you at best ended at a stalemate. At worst, you're worse off.

Oh.

  1. Your team may reconsider a surrender from 15 min to 20 minutes. Things can change that fast with a cool head.
