2.5 seconds, seriously this is broken, what is the counter play to this. i cant flash, i cant wardhop i cant do fucking anything. take silences out of the game or fix them so there is counterplay. SUCH AS BEING ABLE TO AT LEAST FLASH. this shit is just as bad as talon if not worse because then their whole team can group up on you. oh your a tank it doesnt matter your still going to die we have all the time in the world to kill you, not like u can do anything to prevent it. oh even if u survive the silence, hey guess what still your a sitting duck for more cc for 2.5 seconds.

Garen has high cooldowns. Compared to new champions: Low utility. And not even a dash which makes him getting kited easily by anything meta atm.

Complaining about Garen is possibly the most unjustified thing one can do at the moment....

You know, it's... melee. The ONLY 125 Melee range silence. Every other silence hits you from range.

In a world where there are better ranged CCs and on-hit Stuns, you are complaining about Garen? You serious?

Some people Flash/dash/wardhop before he hits them... you know, like every other CC that's not melee.

the least they can do is make it a skillshot, and he doesnt need a dash because he has a 35% speed increase which is a ton

As opposed to say, someone with a gap closer and 2 second on hit stun. Or someone with a gap closer and an on hit 1.25 second stun. Or a point and click 1.75 second snare. How about that dash that includes a 2 second snare on it (with a kit that includes a knockup, btw)?

Notably none of these require you to RUN to someone. They also all stop everything that you are complaining about being stopped - oh, except you can still use non-movement skills if you're snared, and AA. You know, those things you can do with a silence, and ALSO move?

But yeah. You're totally right. Garen OP. All because he has the second weakest CC in the game for a slightly longer duration than the complete lockdown CC.
