Zed VS Talon

Is there really any meaningful reason to pick Talon over the only other AD assassin? I can only think of three things that Talon has over Zed. A better team fighte. A lower CD on this ult and arguable better at picking off people simply cause he can appear next to them with his ult. Zed, meanwhile, has a better laning phase with costless poke. He also has a pre 6 escape and most of all he is about as safe as it gets compared to Talon. One ability gets him in and another gets him out. I just don't see any meaningful reason to pick Talon over Zed which makes me sad.

I want more assassins to be picked. Sadly, though, Zed and LeBlenc will be the most picked assassins cause of their safety. Give the other assassins a reason to be picked over those two.

None of them are meaningful enough to make Talon a competitive pick compared to Zed.

First of all, Zed is not a competitive pick.

He's not being played in champions, he was only picked by Febiven at MSI and his pick rate in challenger/diamond is not comparable to other mids like cassio/azir.

Secondly, yea Talon is weak especially for competitive. However he's more than viable for solo queue, being able to delete someone instantly from stealth is useful. Meanwhile Zed doesn't have stealth and his death mark takes 3 seconds to go off. Not to mention item 3157 item 3140
