Nasus Upgrade Needed

Although I have only played League for a few months, I have noticed a severe shortfalling in the Big Dogg's kit; He has no hard CC. Sure, he's got an extra powerful, highly spammable Q that reks scrubs in the late-game and one of the best slows in the game, but he's got nothing good for dealing with those AP casters like Veigar Ryze and Annie who can kill him while standing still and cs'ing with their slowed autoattack.

Additionally, several of the other juggernauts have been upgraded, so it'd only be fair to upgrade the Doge

I propose a few changes to Nasus's kit. Siphoning Strike: == 9 stacks for Rift Herald or Dragon == 12 stacks for Baron == For each level Siphoning Strike has been upgraded, it silences the target for X/2 seconds.

Wither: == Can now target large minions, large monsters, and epic monsters

Spirit Fire: == Whenever something dies while within Spirit Fire, Nasus gains 1-2 AP (Same mechanic as Veigar 's Q)

Fury of the Sands: == Perfect as is

The only thing nasus needs is to be deleted from the game.

I personally wouldn't change anything. The silence would be a bit much...

Veigar Annie Ryze none of those champs can build full tank and still 2shot your adc late game.Or just shutdown your adc for 5s if he doesnt have qss.

if your game goes longer than an hour than veigar can do that easily

Nasus main here with my thoughts If his q silenced, then nothing could be done about him. He has a MASSIVE slow and can walk up to you with ease. Once he silences you it's over. W change is a nice one. I would like to have the jungle be safer for him. E change would be pretty neat. It allows people to decide between stacking or building up ap. Could be a problematic change though. Ult feels good as well I agree

Ah yes, the classic "If we buff just about every aspect of his kit, he'll be balanced."

No.

The Q buff to baron, herald, and dragon would be insignificant. The jungler tends to smite them anyways so that'd maybe make a difference of 0-30 stacks. You can't simply ask the jungler not to smite because it can be warded and someone can swoop in and steal it so smiting is ALWAYS the best option.

Silencing the target is a bit much. Especially with how spammable it can be. Max rank, 2.5 second silence? Ya w0t m8? That skill has the tinest CD, you wouldn't cast spells at all against him really.

This would just make jungle nasus a bit more viable which would be cute. However, withering Epic monsters is too much. It's so spammable and reducing their attack speeds would make them deal very very little DPS.

Why the E? Why does he need to stack AP? Like, he'd hardly get any from it, it would just be some silly passive. All you're doing is augmenting Nasus' late game with something he doesn't need; more damage. He already has some of the highest damage output in the game at the end, adding on like a potential of 50-100 more doesn't accomplish anything new or cover any of Nasus' weaknesses.

Basically a couple things you changed wouldn't do anything at all besides confuse newer players with more text on spells. The silence is flat out broken. And withering epic monsters is also broken.

Withering large jungle creeps however is a cool QoL thing that I think would improve Nasus just a bit by allowing him to jungle more effectively.

As a tank champion, Nasus is already strong against AP burst champions. He should EASILY survive their burst (especially if his ult is up) and the enemy spending their cooldowns on him instead of squishier targets mean that Nasus has already succeeded at his job. He already has a powerful way to stick to targets that end up in his range and he gets a ridiculous amount of damage even when he's building almost nothing but durability.

The other juggernauts were changed basically using Nasus as the map for what they should be: Terrifying yet kitable. Nasus doesn't need changes because he is already what he needs to be.
