Edit 2016.08.26.10:15 -- Totally broken active removed

I think we should have items that can only be used by champions with "Tank" as a tag. This would have prevented the whole Sterak's Gage fiasco. Actually, making certain abuse-prone items only available to their intended champion classes would prevent broken builds. (I'm looking at you, Metagolem Fiora/Riven/Yi.)

We need to edit Titanic Hydra, Sterak's Gage, and maybe Warmog's Armor to include: REQUIRES TANK CLASS

Also, I wondered what an HP counterpart to Tear of the Goddess and the items that build from it would look like. Sure, it might seem a bit much to offer several items that give 1K Health each, but things are balanced out by the long build-up to get full stacks, and the fact that you wouldn't have to worry about assassins and fighters abusing them. Besides, tank supports would become fairly potent. Especially everyone's favorite mustache man, Braum!

And, what's not to love about supports being able to exterminate pesky junglers?

Overall I like this. The idea of giving some love to just to tanks so other champions can't abuse them sounds interesting. Though some items still should still be purchasable by most classes if they want to have fun builds. I especially like the idea of Warmog's Halberd and HP Tear of the goddess effect. One thing I should mention just because it was a pet peeve was that Titan saber turned into Phreak's halberd when its now Phreak's Claymore And Metagolem's mantle to Golem's Mantle. Small things but it's just makes my skin crawl when people do this.

I agree with all of you. As a tank main I am definitely tired of seeing fighters/bruisers doing my job better than me on top of the best tank items getting nerfed because of the abusive power they have when on a bruiser. So yes, I belive there should be tank specific itmes but I do not belive that items like Sterahks gage should be removed or made tank only. I nelive that there can be a middle ground. Although We have now seen EVERY role(with the upcoming assassin rework) updated except tanks. Please at least admit tanks need some love. Name 1 tank that sees more play than a bruiser. A bet you cannot, because bruisers do the job of tanks and do it better right now.

so basicly ban fun builds? no thats not how this game is supposed to be. yes their will be strong builds that are outside of the intended class but why ban them? makes the game pretty boring i think. About the tear counterpart. Make it stack when taking damage? would fit the tank role really well

still say we need TRUE tank items and TRUE damage items. The TRUE tag being used to increase an items stats higher than normals, while lowering another stat to counteract just how damn good it is.

EX. Golems Stone Armor (TRUE TANK) ~ +1250 hp ~ +80 armor ~ +10% tenacity ~ -15% Movespeed ~ -10% AD/AP

Items that make someone do something AMAZING, but makes it so every fucking champ in the game can't run off with it but a few that does meh damage anyways and doesn't build much offensive items can do well.
