Can we remove the shitty surrender option?

I play with a lot of people who surrender way too soon, when there's easily a chance to come back and win, and I'm tired of it. 20 minutes into the game and it's like 10-9 and they want to surrender immediately and no matter what I try to say to them they're just like "oh no we can't possibly win this game they have a kill up on us." I'm sick of being forced to lose just because the other 4 people don't care or don't understand that there is ALWAYS a chance to come back if they have the patience. I would rather not have the surrender vote at all, but at the very least move it to a point in the game where the chances of coming back are a lot lower, like 35 minutes. The 20 minute surrenders are b.s.

and then you have those games where your top lane feeds 10 kills to Riven in 5 minutes, your jungle tries to solo baron @ level 1 and then afks and your ADC makes bird noises in /all chat while getting 30 CS @ 20 minutes.

Removing surrender would cause the number of AFK's and rage quits to sky rocket!

Then what? Ban them all? Have them spread terrible word of mouth? That would be VERY bad for business.

You've obviously never been held hostage by the enemy team, forced to kill super minions for half an hour in your base because they just won't push and end.

Yes, I do believe that there's always a possibility of winning. But is it worth what you have to go through to see victory?

If they do not want to play anymore ... Yesterday, my top-laner was not going well but I bring my Tristana to be fed. We were good in objectives too. But no one was seeing this. The top-laner was to stuck in his negativity and I think everybody else got affected by it. So, they all surrendered.

I was having fun tough.

Even one member of the enemy team said: thanks for the free win. That one was Yorick on top-lane who was, obviously, fed.

Anyway, that's how it goes sometime. I finally accepted our lost and forgot about it.
