2nd red buff, 7-0 adc who just took bot tower and.......

I just ran into a situation where I was 7-0 caitlyn, took bot tower, built Infinity edge, then asked for assistance (right after i took bot tower and pushed lane) for help with dragon then red buff. Our jungler refused to help with dragon, instead took red buf while i was at dragon hoping my support or jungler or mid would help, then went to small jungle camps while I died in a 2v1 situation. I got extremely pissed, so much so that I raged hella hard and we ended up losing.

Am I wrong to ask for 2nd red buff at 7-0 over a volibear? or a blue buff midgame when I was trying to take mid tower at 7-1 when our voli has full mana (and guess what happened, voli took blue as well, then i ran out of mana with the enemy team pretty low, and the tower at half health, and out numbered, but of course i had to back cause i couldnt harass properly with them turrent hugging with no mana).

I just dont see how someone could be so (insert hate word here) selfish. like if your adc is 7-0 shouldnt you be protecting the shit out of her instead of chasing/taking buffs/farming small jungle instead of helping with objectives? or am I completely off the wall wanting a buff so i can carry.

Depends if you really need it. At that point you should be quite fed. He might need the xp/gold.

Also Red buff on ADC's is mostly a thing later in the game. Early/mid Voli probably needs it more. Even if you're fed.

Main problem I see here is that you're thinking the game is all about you now because you're fed. This is how people can win lane but lose the game.

He probably should of helped at dragon though.

It also sounds like you spent too much mana at mid tower. Save Q for waveclear and AA for everything else till someone else shows up to help.

You can ask, but he has every right to refuse it to you. Also you can harass with no mana as cait, it's called "auto-attacking"

As a jungler, I would gladly give it to you. As an ADC, I would honestly just take it. I think what you should have done in this situation is to take red first, then dragon.

Red buff is especially good on Caitlyn cos it gives her a very much needed all-in potential. Blue on the other hand, I would leave for someone else.

Think about it like this, maybe he saw the 7-0 caitlyn and thought "wow shes really far ahead and I've fallen a bit behind trying to gank mid, I should probably take this red so I can catch up in levels and peel for her effectively."

Another problem with what you tried to do is that you tried to take dragon when the rest of your team clearly had other ideas. Whether taking dragon was the right call or not, it is never a good idea to try for an objective without knowing your team is ready to support you or it is free. You are better off backing and telling your team to get set for dragon rather than trying to take it yourself knowing they are not going to be there to help.

After you took dragon you probably should not have gone for a jungle camp without vision of the enemy team if you were alone. You need to try to focus on how you could have changed the situation to create a better outcome rather than saying "my team should have done X" because your play is the only thing you can truly effect. This may have allowed you to not rage at your team and keep that huge advantage and carry them to a win.

RAGING IS NEVER THE ANSWER! Especially at Low Elo where people are very easy to frustrate because they all think they can do no wrong.

If my adc was 7-0, I'd ignore her and try to help the other lanes, cause it's quite obvious she doesn't need the help.

Also red buff has a stronger passive on melee champs.

help other lanes? so like maybe the mid lane I was trying to help since mid tower is the most important for vision control? specially with bot tower gone and the adc/support mid. Clearly he was making good use of the red buff in the raptors camp while ahri, gragas, and myself get raped in the midlane when their jungler and top fed kat shows up along with the fed malz already mid.........
