I hate playing Maokai

But the way the meta is right now, it feels like there's literally no reason not to.

Damage way too high that anyone but tanks blow up (just ban always)

Infinite lane sustain so can never be bullied out

Snowbally early game top laners are prevalent so need someone that isn't going to feed them if you make a mistake (I'd call a snowbally top laner, since someone at Rito overtuned his kit cos skins)

Impactful at all points of the game, even when behind

Powerful zoning tool in his R to ensure objective securing/success while sieging

Hard to gank

He has probably one of the most straightforward, boring kits outside of so I hate playing him, but until Riot do something about all the Klepto abuse and snowbally insane damage...
