The main problem with this meta.
High skill ceiling champs becoming mindlessly easy to play because of certain runes, the abundance of CDR making cool-down windows virtually unpunishable and certain questionable mechanics decisions.
now has one of the best early games for top laners, rush
never get pushed out of lane, Q and Conq mean you never lose trades unless you make a massive mistake.
miss your E? No problemo fam it'll be back up in no time, didn't hit your Q quite right? don't worry we got your back with super low CD anyway, miss everything? just W their burst and you'll be able to try again
Rito "We have decided to make turret diving more difficult and risky, increasing the chance of turn arounds, also
can't be damaged by turrets because muh true stealth, enjoy this fun and uninteractive mechanic"
Press R, misses everything but E and an Auto, still gets the kill because
,
and dark harvest.
who needs to do insec mechanics when you can just land a Q, Q, W, E,
, R to kill?
Just faceroll that keyboard and
. don't worry Conq got your back, you don't need to learn to auto cancel.
Misses combo, insanely low cooldowns means she tries again 5 seconds later, hits half the combo,
and Electrocute secure it. GGWP.
TBH, I find this to be a disservice to all those players that HAVE mastered these champs, full disclosure, I'm bad and could never hope to be half decent on any of these, but right now, as long as you get a general grasp of what their kit does, you don't need to learn their nuances, you don't need to get good with them because your hand is held so hard by CDR being on practically everything and the crazy damage from runes that you're covered and can effectively play them well enough to win games with basic knowledge.
They're high difficulty, high skill ceiling champs for a reason, they reward you for getting good with them....
And when you don't even need to do that, it shows how large the power creep problem is.
