There is so many changes to Sylas on the PBE that will just make him feel so shit to play as and I was hoping to get any context for these changes from someone on the balance team, but Riot has been mostly quiet about it. Does anyone know specifically WHY Sylas is getting so many changes that look like theyre designed to just make him feel worse to play.

The why is easy, He's just broken in high elo and proplay and needs power taken off his kit. And since waveclear(aka lane priority) is more relevant in proplay, they nerf that and compensate his all-in tradeing potential and make his passive easier to use for lower elos(you now don't need to AA after each single spell use in a combo as it can store up to two charges now)

Not sure if it will work, for me sylas is just a failed design that either has decent enough numbers and gets broken or his numbers suck and he won't do much.

Because he is the most overloaded champion to date and everyone is happy to see him get gutted.

Like every other champ that has high skill celling(with Sylas his ult/few combos mainly imo) he will get slowly gutted, like Akali, Ire, Azir, new Ryze will follow the same pattern as many others. Anything that high elo players can abuse, bcs of their mechanical superiority, will get eventually gutted.

I'm personally interested what are they going to do with TK/Lux/Sivir/other easy champs that performs pretty well in all elos.
