Need to fix 3s match making.

Their are a few things that should never happen in match making.

  • you should never be fighting 2 tiers higher than you. Plats should not be fighting masters.
  • Solo ranks should be taken into account so that diamonds solos dont play silver solos. 3s is small i get it, but their should be a balance
  • a 3 man premade team should never fight a team of solos.

know i know everyone will scream about wait times. but lets not waste the time of the people who are lower rank, who are grinding for hours, only to lose game after game because match making keeps putting them ageist people way above their rank. their time is valuable too.

i remember years ago, when i was plat one, and my team played game for hours on end against the same challenger team. We couldn't get diamond. why should a plat 1 team play a challenger team, they were 3 tiers higher. using the excuse that its match making and that the challengers would have to wait long wait times is a bullshit argument. because your not alivateding the wait time challenger team, your just pushing it to the plat team. Who is force to play a 15 mintute team they can not win.

3s are a fucking mess that need a complete overhaul. I didn't even bother finishing my placements last season because I had 1 game with a d3 player on the enemy team and a s5 player on mine, followed by a plat 2 player on the enemy team and a bronze 4 on mine. It's baffling that the game mode still exists, and still has a ranked queue.

Ignoring the abysmal state of matchmaking though, the game mode itself is incredibly unbalanced, with some champions sitting at 60%+ winrates for months/years.

It needs way more than a matchmaking overhaul, it needs it own separate balance or it will always feel bad to play.
