Purchased 2.5 lvl Runes upgrade?

I myself have four 2.5 tier runes: -3 Quintessence of the Piercing Screech that give 1.85 Magic Pen. A tier 3 Quint of pen gives 2.01 pen, and a Tier 2 gives 1.56.
-One Quintessence of the Speedy Specter that gives 1.39% Move Speed. A tier 2 gives 1.17 and a tier 3 gives 1.5%.

It would be cool for them to get full T3 status. I bought them more than 4 years ago when they were cheaper than a T2 rune. Newer players probably don't remember that 4 years ago you made WAY less IP for games than you do now. You used to get flat amounts for winning and losing, no matter the game duration. If you think champions and runes are expensive now, you would understand why we used to buy these things.

I think they're fine, but I wouldn't mind getting to upgrade them. I've been playing this game since Season 2 and I honestly haven't bought any Tier 3 Quints to replace the Tier 2.5 ones I bought. I think you get like 2-4 extra AP with the AP Quints vs Witches' Brew? There are a few champions I still need to buy which is why I don't want to spend 1-2k on Quints when Tier 2.5 is good enough, but they're extremely cost effective for what they do. I'd say you got your money's worth. I could understand it for people who own every champion on the roster though, but even then you should have IP to burn at that point. Even buying new champs when they come out for 7200 IP like I do.

If you're losing games because you're down 5 AP or some health you're cutting it too close don't you think?
