Your Nerf to Vayne is not gonna change much

11/21 PBE Update

The changes: Stealth duration cut in half (1>0.5) And Tumble (Q) bonus damage lowered to 10/25/40/55/70% AD from 30/40/50/60/70% AD.

Why would this nerf barely change anything? Well, the problem with vayne right now is her ability to burst tanks and squishies alike with the combination of IE+shiv crit, she can pretty much outduel every other ADC from mid-late game (if she isnt behind that is).

These nerfs, dont fix anything, vayne's super early game will be weaker, yea, but it always was. But by the time she gets IE she'll be almost at the same state, and with shiv she'll burst everyone just like before - this is unhealthy for a tank busting ADC - her damage should be comming from silver bolts, and Q for a repositioning tool and a bit of poke, not a ranged burst tool.

What should be looked at is her late game scaling of Q, revert the stealth nerf, no one was abusing duskblade on vayne, thats such a niche build it's not worth getting into.

He's not wrong. It won't change much.

Vayne's powercurve is not currently healthy due to the power held in her Q now. She's got absurd burst and dps atm, and plenty of self-peel. She's gotta be tuned down from a late game and early game perspective, which can easily be addressed by reverting her Q to 50% bonus damage. Alternatively, nerf her R steroid so she doesn't have so much item-independent damage.

Well you just said "(if she isnt behind that is)". They are taking away a lot of her dmg - and nerfing her early game means she'll die more often in lane, heavily delaying that IE.

Who cares if she finally gets IE at 35 minutes, when the other ADC already has 2 items over her?

Early game, especially right now, is extremely important. Most games don't get to 35+ minutes anyway, so nerfing a champs early game is much more impactful than nerfing their late.
