Ahri Didn't Get E Changes This Patch

Why? Because E now has almost no place in her kit. I don't even try to land it anymore unless I know that I'm going to. I don't even level it until 7 now. I think that E should be given the damage amplification back, and Ahri's ms buff taken away. Not that the patches haven't made her strong, they broke her, and now the balance team is overcompensating by doubling her mana costs, lowering W's damage back to pre-patch level, and lowering the ranges of W and R. She's being toyed with, and it's negatively affecting the players.

I don't understand why they changed her kit in the first place. It was my understanding that she was supposed to have the meaningful weakness of being very immobile when her ultimate was on cooldown and needing to make risky dive plays to make Fox Fire pay off.

Maybe I'm wrong about that, but now she's able to just dash away from danger while possibly landing another Q for damage in the process.

Personal opinion, but the nerfs seem stupid to me simply because the rework seemed pointless. She appeared to be relatively well balanced, in a good place, before the rework.

Anyway, as stated multiple times, personal opinion.

They doubled her mana costs? Uh, they increased Q's mana cost by a measly 10 at every rank. She doesn't even really have mana problems in the first place so whatever.

Her one CC has no place in her kit? Landing her one CC guarentees a free Q and all 3 fox fires.

Her W will be fine as well. It's a pretty small nerf damage wise and the rotation speed somewhat makes up for the range nerf.

R fox fire range is pretty negligible just in general.

Everything added up keeps her kite mage identity while forcing her to be closer in order to do damage her full damage output, pretty well thought out counterplay. Better than being a champ that could miss every other skill and still come out with full health and a double kill.

Lol, reading your post makes me think you don't actually know how to play Ahri...which is weird since she is horribly straight froward. You hit charm, you kill them.

Also the damage amp was taken out so it was less DFGish. They'd have to reduce her other damages again...and i'm sorry but playing DFG champs is boring as fuck.

Her E is still very effective, it just no longer spells doom 1v1 like it used to. Now, instead, if you get caught by charm it spells doom when Ahri has a team because of the "slowly walk towards you" effect.

It's perfect as is.
