Personally I find it ok to have this 2 part type of attack, but from the examples we've seen, its basically impossible to dodge the arc portion.

You can hardly call rengar q a skillshot, the aoe is so massive its literally based on the quality of the rengar player and not based on how well you dodge things.

Sejuani W is a much better ability from a balance perspective. It has a good amount of counterplay, takes some skill to hit, and rewards pretty well if you do hit it. It also looks pretty cool in all honesty.

Now, Xin's new W in my thoughts will lean more toward sejuani's w. We do need counterplay, but having too much of it is also a bad thing looking at you urgot q. I'd prefer this type of ability to be split into 2 casts, kinda like riven q- you could do some cool tricks with it and also raise the skillcap of the champion.

Personally I'd want more multi-cast abilities simply because of the numerous usages& utility they can bring. I feel like this "rework" is a good opportunity to use this mechanic, a master spear dude that survived the noxian fleshing should have been able to fluidly combo abilities to survive this well. I'm not talking add in several animation cancels like riven, but making it a 2 part ability would seem correct.
