I like how gp is right now, if you are good at gp, gp is good for you. If you are bad at gp, gp is bad for you.

The only thing I could say needs adjustment is his laning. I know that they nerfed it on purpose so he wouldn't be spammed, but its a real struggle to lane against anything but full tanks.

Yasuo Darius etc are miserable to lane against as gp. You could argue that they are lane bullies, but I feel like for gp lane bullies are multiplied because he doesn't have self-peel, and does really low damage early especially if you do a Doran's Ring/Spellthief's Edge (bankplank)/Sapphire Crystal build, which I prefer over Doran's Blade.

He's a farming laner, it's natural tbh. If he had a good laning phase he'd effectively be unstoppable... again.

Not too mention it's not that bad. A double kill bot from an ult is very possible in the current meta.

That's usually why I bring exhaust, because his ult can clear waves/secure kills without the use of teleport.

I understand that he is a farming laner, but his barrels are next to useless to farm until trinity is completed. He has to farm with his q and autos, which usually means under turret with yasuo/jayce being in every other game.

I'm completely fine with where he is because he doesn't get much attention in the patches, and he certainly isn't weak if you just play him correctly.

I just think is laning his really, really bad and will be until the current top lane carries get nerfed/adjusted.

A way to determine a good gp to a bad gp

Can you land another long barrel during explosive animation (every good gp will pull this off)

I can't even pull this off and I barely play gp this is very hard and takes a lot of practice and reflex to master

if a gp can land these kind of barrels, he can win a game. Ever seen a barrel from long range crit for 1500?? I have onto 5 people ending the game for his team. These kinds of gp, are what set aside tobito and me because tobito is good at gp and i'm next to a box of rocks

u mean the tri-barrel?

Lee sin: If you cant ward jump smoothly or land your q's, youre not a lee sin.

GP: If you cant cs essentially perfectly and land tribarrels, youre hardly a gp at all unless u decide to be annoying and spam q XD

The 3-piece is pretty basic. I've been practicing the 2-piece but its hard to do it reliably.

My favorite thing to do is bring summoner 3 against yasuos top and bait them to ult me under turret. I just remove scurvy out, exhaust them, and murder them. They fall for it every time.

unfortunately, he would just get sent to bottom lane as a damage support...ughh, this meta

the funny thing is, I tried him bottom in season 5...I miss the old gangplank though T.T RIP, jolly roger

he wasn't effective in bottom, but...yeah, guess that's it
