A PSA to League of Legends Players (Midlaners in Particular)

I am tired of coming to the boards and seeing bullshit posts about x champ being op or y champ needing a nerf. Just because a champion is a high burst assassin does not mean that they are op.

Learn your matchups. Don't pick Lux against Zed. And for god's sake, don't try to 1v1 a fed assassin. In low ELO, i see it happen all of the time-- an underleveled, underfed top laner (let's say Jayce) tries to 1v1 the 6/2 Leblanc. Assassin's incredibly strong early games are countered by their lack of teamfight utility and crappy late games (for the most part.)

There are champions that are stronger than others, yes... but if you learn the matchups and how the champions in your lane work, you will win more games.

Please don't hate on this post because you don't agree with it. Let's have a civil conversation here.

It's actually kinda funny.

When I sat down and decided that I need a champion(s) to main, one that I can focus to learn all of their match ups in as many scenarios as possible, things stopped looking "OP" to me anymore.

Granted, as a Master Yi mid "Main", I don't think I have a right to speak on this matter XD

Top Kek. OP has an entire match history of Zed

Zed is so strong that he counters 90% of mids. Same thing for Fizz.

LB does not have a bad team fight. She just distorts in, deletes one person, and then presses one button and she's gone. That's the epitome of an assassin.

Another thing that helps is to actually play the OP champion.

It isn't as easy when you are doing it, and you get to experience the actual strengths and weaknesses of a champion.
