Seriously? A time penalty for dodging a bot game?

Dear Riot,

I just received a six minute penalty for dodging a beginner bot game. I called mid, hoping to play Ahri, and someone else had Ahri who did not call their lane. I asked for Ahri from the person, but she refused. Its a beginner bot game and I wanted to try out a new champ. Instead, because I dodged a BEGINNER BOT GAMER, I now have a time penalty. Smh.

Tl;dr: rito doesnt like dodgers for good reasons

Well, if not the penalty the beginner bots would be hell everytime a new champion is released. Imagine all those dodgers if they don't get to pick it.

Seems more than fair.

Considering without a penalty people just requeue and nothing stops them getting queued together again... Imagine if next time you beat that person to ahri? So they are forced to give up their pick because you threw a fit? Or they should Dodge again, and the other 3 players have to go through this game of swapping champions and dodging until someone gives up?

Kudos on going to bots to try a new champ. Dodging penalties are consistent though. Honestly I came here because of the bots that had infested twisted treeline bot Games and thought you dodged due to them (I got 2 bots 4 times in a row as allies one day, dodged twice, then had to play and lost with them, then had to play again and won with them finally, which was awful all for just a small first win ip boost that I'd have been much better off playing and losing 2 normals even).
