Every AD can still purchase this cheap bullshit to absolutely negate his AP opponent.

Hur dur but you can buy for the same effect of sacrificing offensive stats for deffensive - HOW ABOUT STFU the stats are fine, the PASSIVE is complete bullshit!

"We wanted it to be a tank item" well how about fuck you, assassins still can buy this and GG EZ you can even not play for next 15 minutes because they can even dive you with it 1v1 without fear of even getting lethaly harmed.

Actually so tru, sometimes I sit in a game and think to myself "why cant I buy a 0 skill item that completely stops my enemies champ from functioning?" At least you can play around item 3814 active and it takes some skill/timing.

You don't understand that the only armor item they have is zhonya because they're RANGED they're not supposed to be unkillable by stacking defensive items and then abuse long range spells+utility

Second thing that you didn't understand is that zhonya is also an unskilled item, you press Zhonya wait 2 sec and your team already destroyed the assassin then come back and kill everyone with your team

Well I dont play mages, I play Fizz .. what do I have? I cant poke from range for an all in like mages so Hex/Maw makes me completely useless.

Zhonyas active doesnt do a lot against AD champs that arent Zed or something, unless you time it well, so it requires at least some skill. Certainly more than a shield that activates for you no matter what lol.

Fizz's burst goes beyond 2000 damage, in early game it goes beond 1200 or 1300 it's so fucking retarded, the reason fizz is weak atm is because after laning phase in teamfight he can only kill one target unless his ulti hits a lot of people he doesn't have any problems to kill targets even if they build maw

Zhonya on the other hand only needs timing against zed, and in teamfight it doesn't need anything you're dying? press zhonya and let your team kill the assassin

They really do lol. Talon comes to lane with Hexdrinker rush while I have like either ~60 ap or 20 ap and a Sheen = lane lost even tho we are even in gold. With 60 ap from Seekers my full combo at level 9 is gonna do 630 dmg against someone with 0 mr from items + 2-3 auto attacks + the non-existent dmg from my dot... how does that ever go beyond 1200 lul

In a teamfight, but Im talking about laning. Hexdrinker is godlike in lane while Seekers just reduces damage by a bit.

Imo it makes sense that AD items are stronger than AP in laning since AP can get monstrous late game.

AD has crit and lethality late game. AP champs can reach 600-800 AP with 6 items but its not like their scalings are as high as AD scalings. Something like 100%+ AD scaling is normal, while 100% ap scaling is overkill, so..

Crit is more of an ADC stat that requires a lot of it to even function well (at least 50% crit is required in crit builds) and lethality is supposedly just flat armor pen late game which wasn't very strong last I checked.

Of course constant AA's from ranged champions apply it more than assassin abilities and actually make it more effective, so I can see how people view it as a late game stat.

And sure, 100% AP scalings aren't exactly common, but it's still a stat that is able to go beyond raw AD in numbers.

Second thing you don't understand is you need to know when to use Zhonyas in most cases, otherways THEY just wait 2 seconds and kill you after. The scenario you described means assassin is clearly stupid to go in like this.

But if so, put Gangplank (an AD mage) against Diana (an AP assassin), although he doesn't build item 3155 for what I've seen, he easily could and would win the matchup simply because of it and here goes your FUCKING ASSASSIN!!1!11!!1!!!>mage argument.

look at what happened to item 3116 item 3001 abused by filthy mages, rylai+morello+abyssal 3 first items in lcs 2016 rumble can't have an ap bruiser itemization, he can just get liandry+full ap and hope to carry the game

This is also why you can't have AP assassin itemization.

AP is a really annoying stat because it feels like whenever one AP item becomes strong it becomes core on pretty much every champion with AP scalings.

DFG, Scepter, etc. I guess you could argue the same with other kinds of items, but I notice it on AP more.

If Hexdrinker is proced, you already tried to CC them. It ended, they got the passive, killed you because you just can't do anything (everything on CD, they having the bullshit buff) and jump out - or just take the turret with you, it's season 7.

I agree. Hexdrinker is a bullshit item and the passive should be removed. Having the shield on maw is better but you completely lack any outplay capabilities once an AD gets hexdrinker.
