People's mentality toward Braum and Leona is so broken right now

Yes, they're indeed tanky, I get it, but she just literally walk into my red bush, deward my purple ( blue side ) while their entire team is top and we had 3 people mid, come there, fucking kill the bitch for overextending already, they can't "tank" any more damage if they're dead. This is why I never buy any more ward as a jungler after my first two purple get treated that way. People are just so scared of Leona and Braum and just let them get away with so much mistake in positioning and ignore the ward war.

this reminds me all too much of the game that LMQ threw against CoL last summer split

Westrice built full tank renekton and got "caught" in LMQ's jungle above Baron. It took them so long to kill him that all of Complexity showed up and aced LMQ who were conveniently chasing Renekton through a choke point when they showed up.

People aren't necessarily afraid of them. The point is, consider the amount of time it will take to find and kill them vs a pushing team taking a tower or two. One kill isn't worth a tower, let alone two which is possible if you're bot and they are top. It sucks, but it's a strategy that's worked for a long time. Leona/Braum is meant as a distraction, to try and either draw your team away, or grab some objectives themselves while the other team pushes hard.

I doubt that is the case, this is not diamond, this is solo queue Gold V where people make mistakes and there is people who are not punishing them for it

Lol, I'm bronze and even in the lowest of ranks you've got some people smart enough to use strategies like this. It might be a case of someone being scared, it might be a case of someone just not caring, it could be a case of someone not noticing pings early enough before Leona vanishes.

No one is inherently afraid of any champion. The way someone plays the champion and how much they succeed is going to dictate people's responses.

There, this is the trouble i have with, you represent it perfectly "She is so hard to kill, LETS NOT KILL HER AT ALL AND LET HER DO WHATEVER SHE WANT." Leona is not a god, 3 person can easily kill her because she is simply just a support and you can turn on top and make it a 5v4, people will stop pushing if one of their teammate is dead while none of the enemy doesn't, further pushing into a 4v5 will benefit the opposition.

continues pushing as you close in on leona, idk lets give that 10 seconds
continue pushing top as you look for leona, assuming she is clearing your vision as you said.. finding her wont just be instant, idk.. time varies, hell maybe she recalled
continues pushing as you try and chase and kill leona as she cc and trolls you, idk lets give that another 12 seconds
continues pushing as you kill her and have to walk across the map, idk lets give that 15 more seconds
annnnnd of course recall after taking a objective.... recall time < walking to them time had it been end game, them 30 seconds can end a game

you also have to consider the rest of their team comp... you dont know split pushers very well if you think a death of a person will stop them traits include but are not limited

abusrd mobility
escape
wave clear
tankiness*
damage
can and will either fight and kill all 3 of you or escape

yes you are going to waste alot of time trying to catch them too, and theyre probably gonna teleport and push bot as you close in on top ;l

If you want a really tanky support, take Taric. Once he gets his health and armor items, combine that with his heal and stun and he's super annoying to kill.
