Mana regen nerf is not a problem, the resourceless champions is the problem. ( Also, Lee Sin rant )

You can easily see it, in comparison to a Pantheon Q that cost mana to deal damage, Zed's Q also deal roughly the same damage up front, even if you stand behind a minion you also receive 50% of it, that utility is comparable to Pantheon's Q crit. Although Energy champion can be fixed by tweaking numbers, the guy like Yasuo, Riven is not that simple

Their kit give them way too much for a resourceless champion, in my opinion they should be in some form, either damage or utility weaker than a champion actually have to use mana carefully, like Lux, her E is a great spell, good aoe, easy to hit, deal a lot of damage. Guess what ? It cost 130 mana at max level, I'm not talking about buffing the mana regen, my point is that champions that actually use mana like Viktor, Lux, Veigar that doesn't have a built in mana sustain spells ( Veigar passive is quite insignificant ) like Malzahar, Xerath, Lissandra, Swain have to manage their mana very carefully. Unlike the resourceless guys who can go around spamming their spell without punishment.

Especially LeeSin, bloody hell, the guy have like the most overloaded kit ever, even more than Yasuo . Let's go into detail :

  • Passive give 2 form of self - buff, attack speed and huge energy regain.

  • Q give huge mobility and COMBINED DAMAGE: 100 / 160 / 220 / 280 / 340 (+ 180% bonus AD) (+ 8% target's missing health)

  • W give a nice shield and and Life steal and spell vamp: 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25%

  • Guess what E give, AoE MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+ 100% bonus AD) WHAT, MAGIC DAMAGE THAT SCALE WITH 100% AD... And slow.

  • R deal PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 200 / 400 / 600 (+ 200% bonus AD), that and a potential AoE is huge, people with Lee Sin lead just need to start building damage rather than throwing their gold into tank stuff and he'll just as threatening as any Akali in soloQ. Also, RANGE: 375 ( Dat Cast Range )

Manaless champs have stronger early games. Mana champs typically have MUCH stronger late games. Snowballing one will pretty much wreck the other.
