Well people who say yasuo is op just refuse to even attempt to understand yasuo. I have no problem with yasuo after they gutted him since ik all his shortcomings beating him even as lux is easy.

In all honesty what are you pointing out. The 50% win rate? Im talking about tanks and bruises against him IN LANE.

Look at the bloody matchup chart.

I could beat anyone here with a tank vs yasuo, fact.

Nice sample size of 1. Good thing balance isn't actually based solely off your games, or your words might have held reasonable weight.

Honestly, he can't just faceroll a pantheon, or shen, maokai, even nasus would outscale hard

4 out of maybe 10 bruisers and tanks isn't quite enough. While not every matchup is favourable, he's not beaten by everyone.

well, he showed that Yasuo has about a 51% win rate top lane, which is where you get your Tank/Bruisers.

Dyrus once said that Yasuo lanes very well versus tanks, and Yas is well-known as a strong Gnar counter.

Not that I'm knocking Yasuo. Yasuo is fine. But I think he does perfectly well against tanks and some bruisers.

I guess you'd know better than the Challenger players.

no it's just common sense that Gnar wins this matchup.

His autos will force yasuo to windwall and gnar can easily jump over it and if yasuo tries to retaliate he gets to fight mega gnar and then die. Just because a pro said something doesn't mean you should blindly follow, try thinking about it yourself.

I have played Yasuo top once, and it was against Kennen, which was easy as shit. Other than that I have no experience, and can only try to reason without any prior experience.

So a low elo player like me has two options: follow the words of several very high elo and competitive players, or follow the words of some dime a dozen low Plat player who talks down at the boards' opinions for being "low elo", but funnily enough doesn't apply this same reasoning when someone considerably higher elo than him disagrees with his opinion. So I think it's safer to go with the opinions of people who have forgotten more game knowledge than you have ever possessed.

Oh, and Mega Gnar isn't an activated ability, so he won't necessarily turn into Mega Gnar and kill Yasuo. And even if he did go Mega in the early game, so what? E through Gnar as he uses his stun and you completely avoid it. Mega Gnar fairly telegraphed (to the extent that you know how close he is to turning into Mega Gnar, lol), every one of his abilities can be avoided, and Yasuo has some of the best on-demand mobility in the game if there are minions.

Also, you say Gnar's autos will force Yas to Wind Wall. Why is that? Why wouldn't he just E to him and beat his ass (especially at level 1, since Gnar probably only has his boomerang, while Yas has his E)? E to a minion and start beating his ass, then when Gnar hops away, E to Gnar again and continue beating his ass unless you're deep in his minion wave/it would be unsafe to do so. If it is, continue farming, and then when he comes back, take advantage of his E being on cooldown to E over to him and beat his ass.

Oh, and against Gnar I might start with a Doran's shield on Yasuo, since I have no scaling MR and he does mixed single target damage in his Mini Form, which isn't as easily avoided.

Seriously noobs come use some words don't just downvote

well you have to consider most people on these boards are low elo and don't have the game knowledge to form their own opinions.

man what a joke this is

people actually think yasuo into bruisers is a good idea LOL
