Does your Q give back some mana from Essence Reaver?

Can it crit?
It used to, if I remember it right.
Essence Reaver used to restore mana for every autoattack. Mystic Shot is in a way counted as an autoattack so it'd restore mana.
Doesn't do it anymore though.
It used to, but now the mana restoration is limited to critical hits instead of all on-hits. Mystic Shot cannot crit.
