Rank in ranked games

Hi everybody, I have a question about my rank in ranked games. I am in placement games, I lost 7 of my 7 games ( I know i'm not good if u can give me tips to be better too it would be fun XD) and when I go on site like op.gg or lolstarz, in tier prediction they say that I will probably be Silver V!!!! I have a friend who lost 9 games over 10 and he's now Bronze V. I want to know if it's normal or if it's because of the score cause in my games I always do positive scores, ward a lot, sometimes farm good, etc..

no how you perform doesn't matter

you likely played people on the high end of bronze/low end of silver while he likely just played people in mid to low bronze

Oh so I played with Silver people all my ranked games and he played with Bronze people more than me? and why this can be possible, I mean why I played with silvers and he played with bronzes?

It's possible because of the sheer volume of players that are in bronze.

Maybe not all your ranked games or even silvers, but on the average you have been facing higher ranked players than your friend has. Keep in mind higher rank doesn't necessarily mean higher skilled.

Your MMR is probably higher than his from normals. So you're playing higher tier players in your placements than he was. Also, wins and losses aren't the only thing that matter in placements.
