The Ekko nerfs weren't sufficient. I propose a Better way to nerf Tankko.

The only way to destroy tank Ekko besides from completely redoing the champ, is to punish him for building tanky.

I'm thinking something like: -For every bonus 20 magic resist and armor, he loses 2 MS. Let him be weighed down by the guilt of building tanky. -For every 100 bonus health, he loses 4% of his overall damage.

No need to buff his AP. Just make it that building Tanky would literally hurt his other stats. and yes, that includes items like item 3027 item 3116 item 3157 item 3151

Riot please consider.

That's such an awkward and forced mechanic.

They currently have a change on PBE where his slow is 30% at all ranks and scales with AP.

This is a horrible suggestion, I'm sorry. Really awkward and band-aid way of nerfing tank ekko. It would limit AP Ekko item choices really hard.

Dude, you can't simply nerf a single champ on what they gain from all items. I already proposed the idea of soft capping all classes to a certain degree where they can build outside their intended roles, but if building way off into another role will reduce their gains from a little to heavily depending on how far off they are from their intended builds. This idea seems to have a lot of negative reaction when I propose they lose 10%-20% of a stat if they reached that certain softcap celling.

I mean Riot already did it for movement speed and tenacity for all champions, why not add a softcap ceiling to all classes. There will still be room to build outside the path, but you can't completely go off it. There will be some exceptions of course, but most champs will build more into the role they fit rather than going completely off course. This will let Riot tweak a champion a lot more and less likely nerf items of champions who abuse them.

The best way to delete Tank Ekko is to remove Ekko from the game.

He doesn't need a stun on top of a shield from his W.

He has so much zoning potential that isn't even a part of his core damage that he will not ever end up healthy.
