Help: Did Riot recently nerf Executioner's Calling and Morellonomicon in ARAM?

I am an Iron player, and I love playing ARAM. I noticed that today suddenly most of my teammates refused to build Morellonomicon or Executioner's Calling even the other team has Swain, Darius, conqueror+Bloodthirster Yasuo, or Hextech Gunblade Katarina. Before today, it was completely fine - people always voluntarily build anti-healing items, but today, none of my teammates were willing to build these.

As an Iron player, there are a lot of things in League that I do not understand, this is one particularly confusing thing. Does anyone know why people suddenly stop building Executioner's Calling and Morellonomicon in ARAM? Did Riot change anything in this patch?

Since there have been no direct changes to grievous wounds, you probably just met some people who didn't understand why they exist and when to buy those items.

(Btw if you know what exec/morellos do and when to buy them, you know more than most people in gold.)

can someone who does not like Executioner's Calling and Morellonomicon talk about why these are bad in ARAM and why you do not build them? As an Iron player, I really want to understand the game and improve.
