Akali needs counterplay

This champ offers such a little window of time to do anything to protect yourself against her.

inb4 : CC her, not everyone has hard CC. Any type of CC that isn't hard CC still allows her to dash onto you or onto anything else. inb4 : Drop a pink ward, still not gonna prevent you, your ADC and probably another teammate from getting instantly blown, just gonna let you see her while she does it. (resets, resets, resets.) inb4 : Flash away from her (lol.) you can't, flash away and you're still in range, just burned flash.

I agree that this champ is extremely fun, but she lacks counterplay.

The thing about akali is she has counter play but, its very niche. The way to fight Akali is beofre she gets fed. the laner against Akali should bring a pink ward with them after the first back. the thing that saves Akali early is her shroud since early her abilities have relatively higher cooldowns , so you can't let her hide and wait for CD's. Once she is fed its pretty over though.

She has counter play, you just want her counter play more defined yes? Outside of abusing her pre-6 or making sure you've a pink so you can abuse her cooldown, you've really got to be in the right place to pop her like a zit before she can get her abilities back up.

Communicate with your team to focus her down.

Abuse her pre-6 and ask for ganks on her.

Every counterplay has a counterplay. Its mostly about mechanics and coordination/communication with your team. Else she would be played more in competitive.

Isn´t this always the case? Someone has to be better at some point or else noone will win.

A big part of communicating are you!!! Tell your team what you want to do and it will increase your chance of winning. Teamplay.

I'm the first when it comes to communication and teamplay (given the occasions). Yet I find wrong that the only possible counterplay to X champion is to have a better team.

Other champion have weaknesses that can be exploited singlahandly. A champion that requires a full team to work or to be countered doesn't sound good.

Not even hard CC is a garantuedd thing: Leave her at 1 hp at the end of the CC and she will get to full in about 2 dashes

When u leave her at 1hp you did something wrong or are REALLY unlucky. Eitherway you have to disengage and try it again. Don´t overcommit.

You need more than one to go full combo on her if you want to kill her in the duration of a single hard CC.

That's acceptable on a fed carry/assa. If you have to all focus a single guy just ebcause he exists or he destroys you and your team then there is something wrong. And this wrong's name is Akali.
