How to play ranked (for bronze players)

I feel as though I should share these tips, since they don't seem to be common in bronze and I find myself frustrated with teams.

  • First off the jungler, the jungler should give the laner the ks if possible, reason is that puts them up a level against their opponent which is huge early on. I had a jungler turret dive my opponent, he got the kill, but also died giving my opponent the kill and he couldn't understand why that was a problem...

  • The second is adc's, your sole focus should be farming, too many adcs focus way too much on harass, not cs, and don't gear or level up. This results in them being unable to carry later on and that's really not good. It's rare i'm not 2-3 levels higher than my adc...which should never happen, It's to the point where finding a adc that understands how critical cs is, in bronze, is incredibly difficult.

  • Third is for junglers again, although very uncommon in bronze you should try and steal the enemy junglers buffs throughout the game, this will make them weaker and frustrate them, just make sure to ward your own buffs when they try and retaliate, that way you can stop them and possibly get a kill out of it.

  • Fourth is pinging missing enemies, this is so incredibly critical but very few do it, this leads to unnecessary deaths and loss of towers. I'm aware everyone should watch the mini map themselves but the pings still help big time when occupied with ones own lane. As you're responsible for your opponent and what they're doing.

  • Fifth is applying pressure, if the enemy sends 3 or 4 to a lane after one guy(which is just about every game I play in) you should get something out of it, like a tower or a dragon and an inihib, not go team fight for no reason. The only exception is if it's late game where the death cd is long and you can then push together if you win the fight.

  • Sixth is again objectives, teamfights are great but they need to serve a purpose other than you adding to your kill score...the real target should be towers, dragon or inhibs, too often a team wins a fight mid, in bronze, and have low hp so all retreat and go heal...not using the victory for any real gain.

  • Seventh is always ban katrina, she will completely decimate your team when she gets fed, and she will get fed, make no mistake, as very few laners know how to shut her down early. This isn't an ego thing, just ban her from the game, until her ult and other abilities get a reasonable nerf(which is unlikely) keep her out your games or prepare for the loss.

  • Eighth is stay off all chat, regarding your teammates. The enemy team doesn't care what your issues are with your team, and they don't need to know you have an afk, nor do they need to hear you spam report this or report that. Trust me, they don't care, and no one wants to hear it.

  • Ninth is ranked is not the place to try out new champions...you're doing a real disservice to your team by doing this, if you need to test/practice new champs/lanes etc...that's what normals are for.

  • Tenth is, if you're bad or not good at a particular lane that you get stuck playing, just don't feed, focus on cs if you can, but overall don't feed. Feeding is the absolute quickest way to lose a game.

I have 2 major disagreements with this.

  1. If you are the jungler NEVER EVER EVER give your teammates the kill unless you are already fed and/or you are playing a full tank. Your teammates are bronze for a reason and thats because they are retarded and dont know what to do with a lead.

If you are the laner in bronze, 9/10 time you shouldn't need a jungle gank to win your lane. And if they do gank, it will often be at the worst possible time and make you miss CS.

  1. ROFL @ counter-jungling in bronze, if any solo-q elo. The risk is not worth the reward. The time you spend derp stealing the enemies wraiths the enemy jungler will spend snowballing his lanes.

better yet you will get caught in the enemy jungle and look like an idiot.
