Ignite is OP. There is no debating it. It needs to be knocked down a peg or two, because it can seriously deal a huge chunk of damage to enemies, especially the squishy ones. It should only be there to maybe seal a kill if you don't have quite enough punch, but it definitely should not be one of the larger parts of an assassin's rotation, and it shouldn't be forcing exhaust out of the support position.

Well, Ignite is the only summoner spell that damages and I think people have the biggest issue with the damage ignite does late game to carry champions, most ADC's do not take null. orb so this wouldn't help them. I think people would prefer ignite do something like % max health so an ADC wouldn't be taking over 25% of their max health as unavoidable true damage.
It sucks that the grievous wounds with ignite were originally intended to apply some utility to the spell, but it ended up making ignite more of a death sentence than it already was.
