@Riot Will you guys keep an eye on Gangplank after the Trinity Force changes hit live?

For those that don't know, Trinity Force is getting Zeal removed, and being replaced with Stinger. As a result, Trinity force will have more attack speed, but 0 crit.

As an GP main, Trinity Force is a key part of GP's kit. It gives early sustain in Mana, Health, Damage and the best part about it is the Critical Strike you get after you complete the item(or if you buy zeal first). With Zeal being removed, there seems to be no point in buying a Trinity Force.

The main problem of this situation, is the fact GP won't have an early mana source. GP struggles early game when it comes to mana, especially if you wanna harass the crap out of your laner. Now that Trinity Force will not give Crit anymore, GP isn't going to have room for a trinity Force. As a result he won't have any sort of mana sustain, which will resort in huge struggle early-game and mid-game, after GP's first 2 backs. Of course you have items like Iceborn Gauntlet which give mana, but GP optimizes in damage, and one-shotting the enemy ADC, not tank. He's a glass cannon essentially.

I have to rethink my build now, but I am wondering if you guys will keep an eye on him, and possibly explore some buffs(if he drops in win-rate of course)to help his early game. Perhapes re-adding the refund on mana mechanic his Q used to have. This is of course he drops in win-rate.

Thanks in advanced.
