You died 13 times on janna...
It's based on all the other Jannas playing Janna in the same position as you. How can it be rigged for damage dealers?
You died too many times for an S rank-- She should be practically unkillable mid-late unless you dive in.
It's determined by your damage output, healing done, wards placed and your KDA. You can't die more than 3 times as Jannna in general, if you hope to get an S. And you need a ceratin amount of minons and wards killed.
ITT: People assuming KDA is the only measurement for ranking.
I'm pretty sure Riot said that rating is determined by your performance compared with other people on the same champion in the same role. If you are in the top 5% I think, you will get an S.
Also, KDA is is just one of many factors that determine rating.
It's compared to other Janna players and more matters than just K/D/A. It's also % participation, amount healed, etc.
So you probably died a lot more than the better Janna players and you probably had lower % kill participation as well. They also factor winning/losing in so those Janna players scoring better than you are dying less AND winning.
I got an S rank on Leona with 2/2/13 before. You don't need to do a lot of damage to rank well.
Go 0/13/54 and some people in this game will still be like, "Janna is 0/13 lol."

I played top Garen vs teemo + his jungler.... i had an amazing 112 cs at 22 mins and 7/0/5 stats.... got only A+ and i tell u i went through a real hell on lane against Satan.

But If I did find your game, I would have said that your game had an immense amount of kills and you did not ward enough. 54 assists is not actually a lot of assists if there is 80 kills in the game. A lot of assists can be 7 assists out of 9 kills, or 2 assists out of 2 kills which is 100% kill participation. Most of my ranked games are S+ or S besides my games today, which are A+ and A's - You can see how I got those by looking at my history ^_^
-Edit- I found your game on OPGG, Lolking is bad lol - You only had a 71% kill participation so you probably got a B or something like that, it also goes on wards too!

try going 11/4/11 and getting a level 3 penta kill to only be told you got a B on khazix top
