Any more plans for malz?

Hi there, this is directed at any rioters out there, do you have any more plans for malz? I think this mini w rework was certainly a step in the wrong direction, it has mad ehis kit feel pretty awful, farming is near impossible vs any other mage with a brain, and any aoe pretty much one shots the voidlings even more easily, so his teamfighting is pretty trash too atm.

I fully understand these changes are still somewhat experimental and in preparation for rylais changes, however malz feels quite unplayable at the moment, just wondering if there was any plans to alter his w again for next patch... I wanna bust out snow day malz on the winter rift and actually be able to do well :(

Just played Malz for the first time in a long time, ty ARAM. OMFG what trash. Idk what they did to W but the change from old malz is shit. I couldn't even E the enemy. Was the most frustrating game I have ever played. Ulted a Vel'Koz at lvl 7 he had maybe 1/3 health and I took about half of that and I died. No one even got QSS because at full build he was still trash. It is amazing how one of my favorite champ can become unplayable. I have probably close to 60 games with old Malz and 3 with the new and I can't stand it. Of all the bad reworks his is the worst. You use to have to ban Malz now he has a 4% play rate and is pretty useless.
