Aorum is an mixed ap burst/sustain damage champion who uses a lot of utility in his kit to make the most of his damage output. Aorum is generally played as a mid laner against mobile/assassin type champions since he's a little tanky and can negate some damage.

Passive(Potency Genesis)

All of Aorum's abilities have cast time except his ultimate.

All of Aorum's 1st Activation abilities give 1 energy charge if it hits a unit.All of Aorum's 2nd activation abilities require energy charges to use.

Aorum can store up to 10 energy charges and gains decreased cast time on his abilities based on how many energy charges he currently has, respectively at 1/6/12/18 having 120/540/1060/1580% cast time reduction.

Q(Energy Wave/Spirit Blade)

Energy Wave deals physical and magical damage, hitting all units in a cone motion. Hitting an enemy unit will reveal them for a short time. Spirit Blade will be available after Energy Wave was activated for 3 seconds. Spirit Blade will deal magic damage that will penetrate a percentage of magic resistance based on his max health. Spirit Blade is also a charged ability that will have increased range in length and width and damage the longer it is charged.

  • Now reveals units for 3 seconds flat

  • [New]Target now has 25% reduced attack speed for 3 seconds when hit

  • Range is increased to 425

W(Crystal Shard/ Quaker Discharge)

Crystal Shard is a slow,skill shot that deals magic damage and stuns or freezes enemies hit in the center and slows the surrounding units. The skill shot starts off as a slow shard of ice that moves and increasingly becomes faster. Quaker Discharge is an aoe ability that roots Aorum in place for a duration and shocks the ground which slows all units around him while dealing magic damage over time.

Crystal Shard Damage- 20/40/60/80/100(+.55 AP) per hit

Shards- 3/4/5/6/7

Stun/Slow- 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 second stun and 30% slow around the shards

Range- 375/400/425/450/475

Cast Time- 1.25 seconds

Cooldown- 10/9/8/7/6

Crystal Shard[Enhanced]

  • Now deals 50/75/100/125/150(+.55 AP)(+5 per charge max. 5 charges) per hit

  • Now shoots 1/1/2/2/3 very large shards instead of the original amount

  • Stuns now last 1.5 seconds and slows last for a flat 1.5 seconds with 35% slow

  • Range now becomes 400/400/500/500/600

  • No longer speeds up/ramp up time


Quaker Discharge Damage- 60/70/80/90/100(+0.35 AP) per second for 3 seconds

Slow- 75% slow for 3 seconds

Cost:1~5 energy charges

Cast Time- 0.75 seconds

Quaker Discharge[Enhanced]

E(Explosive Wave/Wave Radiation-

Sends out a large wave that slightly knocks back all non-allied units away from the center of the explosion and deals magic damage. Wave Radiation deals mixed physical and magical damage and slightly knocks back non-allied units away from Aorum and gains a shield and spell vamp for a small duration.

Explosive Wave Damage- 60/100/140/180/220(+0.6 AP)

Range- 1100

Cast Time- 1.5 seconds

Cooldown- 14/13/12/11/10

Explosive Wave[Enhanced]

  • Now deals 50/80/110/140/170(+.65 AP)(+5 per charge max. 5 charges)

  • [New] Now leaves behind an aoe that deals 20/30/40/50/60(+.25% AP)per second for 2 seconds

  • Now knocks up enemies instead of knocking back

  • Cast Time now becomes 2 seconds


Wave Radiation Damage- 60/80/100/120/140(+0.5 AP)

Shield Gain- 50/80/110/140/170(+0.4% AP) for 3 seconds

Spell Vamp Gain- 4/8/12/16/20% for 3 seconds

Wave Radiation[Enhanced]

  • Damage is now 100/125/150/175/200(+0.3 AP)(+2 per energy charges max. 5 charges)

  • Shield gained increased up to 75/100/125/150/175(+0.5% AP)(+25 per energy charge used max.5 charge used)

  • Range is now 400

R(Wave Eye: Thunderous Sky)-

Passive: Quantum's basic attack cleave through his target, causing bonus damage and damage to units behind his target

Summons a thunder cloud above Quantum and reduces the sight vision of all enemy champions within a certain range of Quantum and deals magic damage over time. All of Quantum's abilities are enhanced for the duration.

Passive Damage: 20/35/50(+0.65% AP) Magic Damage

Damage- 25/50/75(+0.25% AP)

Reduced sight range for enemy champions- 250/475/625 reduced range

Range to have reduced sight range- 1100

Duration:20 seconds(+2 seconds per energy charge max. 10 charges)

Cooldown-120/110/100

Pros

  • He has strong harrass on his Q

  • Almost all his abilities has some sort of cc

  • His ult is very useful in large open areas

  • He has a large amount of mixed burst and sustain damage.

Cons

  • He is a little Ultimate reliant

  • Most of his skills have a pretty long cooldown

  • His high utility can sometimes put him out of position.

  • The Sight Reduction is easily avoidable

  • His cast times make him pretty slow at casting his abilities which makes him vulnerable to things such as ganks.

Seems like a very complex champ IMO. Ryze's CDR (but more complex) with Brand's combo-wombo potential (but more complex).

The creativity is great, but try to keep it simple.

The complexity makes this champ intriguing, but confusing. His kit is nice and original, but the numbers need tweaking.
