Repost - Character Concept: Nell the Dark Vestibule
Lore
When Sion fell and it was proposed that he be reanimated many thought such a task was inadvisable. Though Noxian Necromancers existed, their creations were incoherent savages. They were uncontrollable and immediately violent. Raising a corpse with Sion's physique was thought to be beyond dangerous. That is until a high ranking necromancer, Nell, proposed a ritual that would send a deathmage to the shores of the afterlife to guide Sion's soul back the realm of the living.
During a costly expedition to the Shadow Isles, Nell made contact with the other side. She remained in a deep sleep long after the end of the ritual and the end of the expedition. Assuming her lost, the remaining Noxian forces brought her back to Noxus for study. When they had finally returned, she awoke.
Within days of her return Sion was alive again and more powerful than he was in life. Nell was left to study. As time went on her otherworldly connection became more prominent and unnerving. It was to the relief of a great many when she enlisted at the League of Legends hoping to study the magics of the spawning pool and the Nexus.
Range - 625 HP - 384 (+90) HP5 - 4.5 (+.45) AD - 49 AS - .630 Ar - 15.50 (+3.25) M.Res - 30 (states taken from Sivir and Annie)
Abilities
Passive: Dead Lock - Any minion or large monster (does not include epic monsters) killed by Nell (killing blow) becomes a passive Zombie that follows Nell. These minions surrounding Nell are considerably weaker than their living counterparts and are target-able. Once a raised minion is rendered inert, it remains on the field for 2/4/5 seconds to be used with Nell's other spells. The inert body of a zombie has it's original stat values restored. Number of Zombies cannot exceed 3.
Q: Corpse Explosion - Nell fills an inert Zombie with death magic causing it to detonate dealing 2/5/8/10/15% of the Zombie's max health to nearby enemies. Any corpses in range will also explode dealing a third the damage of the first explosion and slowing nearby targets. Buff Monsters have additional effects. (.25dmg done to mana or 5 true damage on the first corpse and each subsequent detonation.)
W: She Beckons - Nell actives a Zombie buffing it to it's original health and damage (+10% of Nell's health and AP) for 1.5/2/3/5/7 seconds. This Zombie can be directed by using W again. Once dead, it remains on the field for the duration of Nell's Dead Lock. Unit's stats return to base values.
E: Soul Siphon - Nell drains the residual energy of a Zombie (inert or otherwise) killing it and restoring (5% Zombie's HP + .33 AP) health or empowering her next auto attack with 10% of the Zombie's max health(+.5/.7/.10/.12/.13 AP); depending on corpse used. Zombies killed this way are not subject to Nell's Dead Lock.
R: Return of the Dead - Nell empowers all available Zombies (including inert zombies) with double their movespeed and 150(+.15AP)% of their armor, health, and damage for 10 seconds. They will seek out the 2 nearest champions and attack. Inert zombies will remain in play for the duration of Deadlock. Any subsequent spell casts use the new stat values.
Base Concept - I wanted to design a champion who played more directly with minions and the last-hitting mechanic. I kicked around of few ideas and ended on a harass-heavy deathmage who played around with corpses. To balance her I think she'd have to cast with her health and be forced to sacrifice corpses for Soul Siphon to stay in shape. I'm not sure how to assign CD, but her W definitely needs an extensive CD. She has potential as a jungler and the %values offer room for her to be built tanky. The idea of a Bruiser Summoner archetype never crossed my mind until now.
I don't have any visual artistic talent, but I envision her to be a sensual caller of the dead who coaxes souls from the other side. There's also the potential for motherly imagery because she giving these minions a rebirth. It also ties into the whole vestibule of unlife thing. I suppose both the seductive siren and the guiding mother are roles that are played around with often, but I think league needs more organic female characters. I also think it needs more puppetry and weird mechanics.
