I actually would enjoy being based on the fantasy system where individual skill and kill participation are what allow you lower lp loss. Or this individual skill gives you up to 50% extra lp in a win. Either way doing well as a player and having high kill participation and objective participation would allow you a bonus in LP loss reduction or LP gained that match. So if you do well individually and take as many objectives combined with other factors like dc's you can then lose 50% less LP, but if you do the same and win its a gain of the same. objectives are worth 2.5% per objective assist/take, kills are worth 1%, assists are worth 0.5%, your kill participation is also worth anywhere between 0% and 10%. Dc gives you a net gain of 5% to 15% per player depending on how long they were gone or if they ever came back. Also getting a good teammate or good opponent or something like it would be worth 2%. All of this gain goes down after 25 minutes with the percentages giving you less and less per 2 minutes beyond 25. with a reduction to 0.1% bottom out at 50 minutes for all percentages except participation, Dc, and teammate good opponent stuff.

These are all base numbers that the game gives in the information screen after the game has ended. So all you have to do is experiment on how to tell the game to keep track of it. 50% may also be a little high as you can half all the percentages and make it a 25% making it's worth accumulate over time.
