#LORE
The Void is a dangerous place that exists on another dimensional plane. Some Runeterrans fear it. Some worship it. There are petrifying visions of its horrors affecting many. But none had been inside The Void; none had experienced its horrors firsthand except the monsters that made it their home. None, until Rak’Shas. Not much is known about Rak’Shas, not even the once-human’s true name. Those that have investigated the Shapeshifter have only learned for certain that she was a human who was thrust into The Void many years ago. It was commonly believed that no one could survive inside The Void. Clearly, that was a lie. Rak’Shas had lived years in The Void, by means that one could only imagine. The first time Rak’Shas was noticed was when she appeared one day in the Noxian court, changing shape from a Noxian Military Commander into the featureless, voidrent form that is her true shape. She assassinated a man with a dagger made from a void creature’s claws before disappearing and leaving nothing behind but the frightened stories of the witnesses, and the cries of a man dying of a wound from The Void. Rumors were spun, investigations were attempted, but nothing new was learned of the one they titled The Void Changer. The man that was assassinated was barely a noble, a man of little importance to Noxus. Eventually, the rumors of Rak’Shas reached Kassadin, The Void Walker. He traveled to Noxus immediately and conducted his own investigation, believing the shapeshifter was sent on a mission by of the Void itself. Once he looked into the life of the man who was slain, he discovered that the man was rigorously studying The Void, specifically how to prevent it from invading Runeterra and devouring the world. Kassadin surmised that the shapeshifter was going after anyone that posed a threat to The Void, and knew that he would be on the list. Breaking habit, he stayed in Noxus for a time, hoping to draw out the Void Changer. His plan worked, almost to his detriment. Rak’Shas appeared in the room Kassadin was staying in, dagger blade to the sleeping Void Walker’s throat. Kassadin awoke and instantly teleported out of harm’s way, but as he did he was struck by a thrown blade of void energy, not unlike his own Nether Blade. He surveyed the room, but saw nothing. Rak’Shas appeared behind Kassadin and unleashed a flurry of quick slashes with his dagger and claws. Kassadin turned slashed with his Nether Blade and released a pulse of void energy, sending Rak’Shas through the window and onto the street. Kassadin teleported to the moonlit street to finish his would be assassin, but instead he found two young boys. They were identical in every way, and they both just stood in the street, staring at Kassadin. He knew that one of them was the Void Changer, but he did not know which. Kassadin hesitated, and in that moment one of the boys vanished into the darkness. The boy that remained suddenly fell to the ground, and blood pooled beneath him. The Void Changer had taken the boy’s shape, and in doing so nearly killed the boy. Kassadin took the boy to a nearby hospital, saving his life, but preventing him from pursuing the shapeshifter. He knew she would try to kill him again, but next time, Kassadin would be ready.
#RAK’SHAS THE VOIDCHANGER#
#Base Stats:#
Health: 450(+77) Health Regen.: 7.65(+0.69) Mana: 270(+39) Mana Regen: 6.75(+.04) Attack Damage: 51(+3.2) Attack Speed: 0.668(+3.1%) Armor: 20(+3.6) Magic Res.: 30(+1.25) Mov. Speed: 345 Range: 125
Rak'Shas is a melee assassin, so while she has high base damage and scaling attack damage, her defenses are pretty thin. It requires proper use of her kit's tricky nature to survive long enough to kill a target.
#PASSIVE: NETHER BLINK#
While stealthed or shapeshifted, Rak’Shas’ next auto attack will gain 300 range (425 total) and she will blink directly behind her target.
Rak'Shas' main tool to get onto her target. This allows her to get in close and tear them to pieces, or if used intelligently can mean survival by blinking to a minion behind her.
#Q: VOID DAGGER
Cooldown: 4 Seconds Cost: 40 Mana+1 Void Dagger Range: 900
Rak’Shas throws a Void Dagger in a line, striking the first enemy in its path, dealing (50/75/100/125/150 + .4 Bonus AD) physical damage. If this ability strikes an enemy champion, Rak’Shas stealths for 1.5 seconds, and gains a burst of 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% movement speed that decays over 2 seconds. Rak’Shas generates a Void Dagger every 20/18/16/14/12 seconds. Rak’Shas can only hold 3 Void Daggers at once. Kills generate another dagger.
This ability runs on an ammo system, allowing Rak'Shas to get a burst of damage out in a short time before jumping onto her target to finish the job, or can be used in an escape for her to run away from a gank. Since it is a skillshot and only grants her stealth and the movespeed boost upon hitting a champion, she will have to aim very carefully if she wants to pursue a kill.
#W: Voidrend
Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana
When activated, Rak’Shas’s next 3 auto attacks will have maximum attack speed and will splash, dealing (20/35/50/65/70 + 1.0 Total AD) per strike.
This is Rak'Shas's main source of burst damage. Once she reaches her target, she will activate her W to deal tons of damage in a short window while also dealing meaningful damage to nearby enemies.
#E: Torment of the Void
Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 Cost: 75 Mana Range: 350
Rak’Shas uses her void energy to infect the minds of all nearby enemies, showing them its true terrors, fearing all enemies hit for 0.75 seconds. If Rak’Shas uses this ability while stealthed or shifted, the fear is 1.5 seconds long.
This is her 1 point wonder skill, and also her source of survivability in teamfights. It is a short range disrupt that gives her the opportunity to get some damage in before her enemy can react. However, at the range of Skarner's Q, it is extremely unlikely that she will hit more than 2-3 targets, so someone always has the opportunity to attempt to protect her target.
#R: Visage of Oblivion
Cooldown: 120/90/60 Cost: 100 Mana Range: 600
Rak’Shas leaps onto an enemy champion and becomes untargetable for 1 second while bringing the target into the void, suppressing the target as she copies the enemy’s appearance in the Void. Once copied, the two are knocked out of the void away from each other, Rak’Shas traveling in the direction of the cursor and the target in the opposite direction. Rak’Shas will appear to the enemy team as an exact duplicate of the enemy she copied for 2 seconds, appearing to have the same max health/current health/items/stats as the one he copied. After the 2 seconds the target’s mind is ravaged from being inside the void, dealing (150/250/350 + .7 total AD) physical damage, and Rak’Shas has 15% increased AD for 5 seconds after reverting. Rak’Shas can only be struck by AOE and skillshots for the duration of this spell. If Rak’Shas is hit by a spell while shifted, or casts a spell or attacks, she will immediately revert to her original form.
This is Rak'Shas's ultimate. This is how she infiltrates the enemy team to reach her target. Since AOE will revert her to her original for, she needs to be careful to not get hit before she can blink and kill her target, but if she can trick the enemy team into thinking the other one is her, they might blow meaningful spells trying to defend themselves trying to hit the real one, allowing her and her team a window to initiate.
Rak'Shas' main goal in a fight is to infiltrate the enemy team and find her target, whether it be the AD Carry or Mage, and execute them through her high damage W and auto attacks. She excels in small skirmishes, using her hit and run style to poke down a target before leaping onto them and going for the finishing blow. Small fights also benefit her ultimate, because the fewer enemies there to interrupt her transformation the higher chance she has at successfully deceiving her enemies so she can go in for a kill on an unsuspecting foe.
#Items
Since she needs high damage to succeed, These items would be her core.
and
/
will give her the damage output she needs, as well as survivability from the lifesteal. Hydra in particular complements her W, dealing even more splash damage and a nice active that gives her a second auto-attack reset.
As an assassin who particularly dislikes AOE, a
is ideal for protecting her while she is shifted, though the bubble might give away her identity to someone that is paying attention.
and
are the ideal boot choices, because she doesn't need attack speed due to her W so berserkers aren't necessary.
Could be strong on her due to her low cooldown Q, and the mana would be nice on her to allow for more Q spam.
#Summoner Spells
and
are really the only options for her, though she could run
or
if she is really scared for her life. The extra kill potential of ignite is just too important for her to not use it.
#Personality Movement Quotes: “The Void is eternal.” “All shall bow before the Void, or be consumed by it.” “You do not know the horrors that await you… But I do.” “Soon, your world shall be devoured.” “How long have I served?” “The darkness beckons. Shall you answer?”
Attack Quotes: “We shall show them true terror.” “Their suffering has only begun.” “We will wipe their hideous visage from this world.” “They shall breathe no longer.” “Their blood shall fuel the Void.”
Quotes upon using Visage of Oblivion: “You will know oblivion!” “Look upon your future!” “Let the darkness consume you!”
Jokes: Rak’Shas changes her face to a silly but ugly one with a goofy expression. “What would you rate me on a scale of 1 to 10?” “Let me show you my good side.” “Be honest. Am I… pretty?”
Taunt: Rak’Shas gestures towards her face with her dagger. “I could not make a face uglier than yours if I tried…”
#Skin Idea: Mysterious Rak’Shas Rak'Shas has blue skin, a white outfit and red hair, similar to a famous shapeshifter. She even uses a gun in her honor! Pew Pew.
